Ienzo looks entirely unaffected with the Nobody's (?) fussing. He's lived with Even... Vexen... whoever long enough to no longer be affected by such petty complaints. What he does look rather more affected by, however, is the fact that he can see something rather unusual in his old caretaker's eyes. Is that-- is Even worried about him? Such an event is uncommon, but not unheard of; that's not the main takeaway from this. The main takeaway is that this blond-haired man is making it quite clear that he is, in fact, Vexen, a creature with no heart--
The young man swallows down the lump in his throat and moves on. Lo and behold, the moment has passed without Even/Vexen even noticing, and he's back to just being cranky. Well. It's obvious that there is some sort of error in communication here, but they can't find that error until Ienzo somehow gets the other man to shut up.
Fortunately, when it comes to that, he's an expert.
"When I was taken, both of us had recovered our hearts through other means than... the work of the Organization." It takes much of his willpower not to say 'the fake Kingdom Hearts'. Vexen is freaking out already, best to not agitate him more. "Clearly, we've been drawn from different points in time. But, for clarification's sake -- what is the last major event that happened, to your recollection?"
