Ishgard

[You wanted to get away from snowhell? WELL THAT'S TOO BAD. Welcome to Estinien's own snowhell! This is Ishgard. A castle-like city that's perched on the edge of cliffs, entrenched in an eternal winter. Most of the citizens are Elezen, but there are a good number of Hyur—or humans—but most seem to be of the poorer variety. Not that there aren't some dressed in fine clothes, or even as knights, but it's rather clear here which race is that of the nobility.

Of course, new comers will get scornful looks and suspicious stares, and you'll be quick to find that they're not the most welcoming of people. Even the children in the brume, in raggedy clothes and smudged dirt on their faces, don't seem to pleased either. Some might even chuck a snowball in your direction. Overwhelmingly this city is not welcoming to outsiders, and they don't really try to pretend otherwise.

That is, if you stray from the Azure Dragoon as your guide. With his presence, everyone seems a lot more willing to shed their xenophobia and suffer the presence of those they do not recognize. Either because the Azure Dragoon trusts them, or the fact they don't want to suffer his horrible temper if they accost those they think are his friends.]

Coerthas Central Highlands

[Immediately out of the Gates of Judgment, you will find yourself in a winter wonderland. However, the snow and ice is the least of anyone's concerns. Not when there are ice covered Goobbue, Fuzzy Crocodiles (check out that face), as well as bipedal dragons called aevis. There's other monsters around as well, but those are bit more numerous. Be careful not to get eaten!

Or frozen, seeing as these float about seemingly aimlessly. Though pretty, they are dangerous, and if threatened, they will most certainly attack with ice magic. Don't touch the shiny.

There are various camps further out, one of which was ran by Haurchefant called Camp Dragonhead, and you will find yourself far more welcomed there than the others. The judgmental looks seem to be non-existent here, and people actually seem somewhat friendly compared to other Ishgardians.]
