She putters around the house, arranging and rearranging the meager possessions she's gathered since her arrival, trying to make them look nice. She's never had so many things before. There's the book from Miss Justineau, of course; that had come with her from the base. She sits it on a bookshelf next to two other books (one of which has blank pages) and an empty plastic vase. On the little table in front of the couch, she sets out the food from her backpack, along with a metal fork with slightly twisted tines.
