I know I'm basically stuck in a horror movie, but I could really do without all of these stupid dolls. I can't be the only one finding these, right?
[ She probably knows the answer to that already. She's still asking. ]
Three
[ Asuka's been on the edge of panic most of the day. First she finds herself in a creepy, abandoned, snow village (and the novelty of real snow had worn off really fast), next she discovers there are creepy dolls, and that she has to scrounge for supplies just to survive. Add on a ton of strangers who she really doesn't want to get close to and she has a situation where she's both incredibly irritated and trying to fight down her own, very real fear. As "lockdown" starts up, she's found a corner to curl up in, trying to ignore cold and her own, stomach-twisting anxiety and nausea.
It takes her a while, but exhaustion finally overrides her brain and she falls asleep. Of course, when she does sleep, she's still plagued by strange dreams. The creaking noise that startles her out of sleep is still ringing in her ears (or she imagines it is) and she blinks blearily, looking around for her scavenging companion. ]
Hey, did you hear that-?
[ That's when she sees the doll hanging by its neck. She stares for a long moment, the color draining out of her face as she realizes that it has her face, her hair, even her hair-clips, and she can't help the fact that her mind goes racing back to the first time she saw something like this.
Asuka screams aloud, a high-pitched, piercing shriek of genuine terror, and she tries to scramble away from the swaying doll, pausing to suck in air for another wail. ]
