ONE: BUMP IN THE NIGHT It's dark out, and congratulations - you're inside! What's not inside, you might ask? Monsters. Shadowy monsters that have surrounded whatever house you've taken shelter in. They can't get in... or can they? From time to time, the doors and the walls creak as if under an unbearable pressure.
Who can sleep when it's like this? Maybe you should take to the network to find a distraction. Or maybe someone has advice for getting rid of those things.
TWO: BRING OUT YOUR DEAD We mourn the loss of those who have died in the time between the last announcement and this one:
...is that your name on that list? It might be. Maybe you should let the others know you're not actually dead. Or, you know, if you happen to spot the name of someone you know and love on there, it might be time to ask around and see if anyone knows what happened to your dearly departed...

THREE: KYRIE ELEISON You've found yourself in a small chapel, complete with bolted-down pews, an altar devoid of symbols, and stained glass windows depicting various saints. It's quiet... one might even say dead quiet. Which is a really awful pun to be making, considering if you follow the stairs down to the basement you'll find a morgue.
Explore to your heart's content, but you'll be forced out at 7 PM. Hopefully you don't find any unfortunately familiar faces among the dead.
FOUR: LIGHTS OUT Against all odds, you've managed to make it to shelter for the night. You pull the door shut behind you and turn to look at your surroundings - and that's when you see it. A ... person. Is it a person? It's hard to tell, because a moment later, you're plunged into darkness.
...better hope that's another unfortunate visitor to Norfinbury you've been locked in with, and not something more threatening.
How 'bout that. [The totally spoiling for a fight rookie from some backwater town, surely, like he's some 16 year old orphan longing for adventure, actually has some self preservation instinct!
...okay, so he doesn't exactly sound quite right for that, but still.]
G-geez, you don't need to shout. We can hear you just fine.
[ And the little mage answers the call! Well sort of. He was getting rather concerned about the shadowy creatures outside himself (not scared mind you) and has been scanning the network for news. He just never expected the loud audio. ]

Even though he'd been a man of few words, Nux would recognize that voice anywhere. Although hearing it here in a dark room in a foreign freezing cold place-- Nux was confused.
"Blood bag?"
The War Boy didn't have to shout his response because suddenly the Road Warrior closed in and put a hand on him. Nux tensed to anticipate a blow that didn't come (they had fought each other well enough that Nux wasn't sure where they stood now that they no longer shared a common mission). Instead he found himself pulled along to follow the other man's lead.
He went easily, stumbling at first to gain his footing in the dark, but soon was hot on his blood bag's heels. If Nux had learned anything from their short time together, it's that if the feral Road Warrior was at full sprint away from something, it was probably best not to fall too far behind him.
Without the deathly pain in his neck, Nux found he could keep pace easily. A War Boy who wasn't fit wasn't of much use, obviously. The sensation of health was strange, but he didn't have time to think about that right now.
I know what you mean. I have seen pretty weird enemies myself, but these guys are still pretty creepy. You should probably watch out, stay close to the light or something.
I guess I have to poke around to see if I can find some sort of candle at least... it won't be much, but it'll be nicer than staying here freaked out. [ Hearing another loud bang, she looks up from her device, with a small grimace. But for now, getting psyched up for the task might be what's ideal. Talking does make her feel better. ]
What kind of weird enemies, though? The last night I had back home otherwise, my life was mostly normal.

[ Yikes, how does one explain the oddity that is the Risen to someone who has probably never seen it before? ]
The closest thing I can compare them to is a moving corpse. They suddenly appeared one day and started causing problems. It's probably due to the fall dra- [ Suddenly there is a loud creak from his end. Ricken grimaces similarly as Lynne did just moments ago. ]
Maybe talking about them right now isn't such a good idea ...
I'm really regretting not taking exercise in martial arts! It must be nice to not really need a weapon to fight.
[ The words "moving corpse" has her attention for a bit--she widens her eyes and blinks when she hears some of the background noise from Ricken's communicator. She's not particularly superstitious or anything, but it would be bad to jinx it, wouldn't it? ]
It's going to be so hard getting any rest! I can't believe there are actually people who've been able to deal with this for a couple of weeks already!
[ Thorfinn looked back to the stained glass a moment before he started to put the tablet away before thinking of it. Motioning for her to take the lead.]
[ he is glad she's not dead. he's just too busy being put out about her comments and in a constant state of anxiety that she could die again and there's nothing he can do about it, nor anything else.

You died? [Klaus is even harder to kill than she is. Or should be. There might even be some concern in her voice because the idea of him dying hurts despite how pissed she should be at him right now]
Suddenly this is all seeming a lot less entertaining.
[ certainly whatever misgivings she might have towards him pale in comparison to the dilemma that faces them now. he hopes -- no, he demands -- that old adage of theirs must become part of their vocabulary once again. he senses the concern, if that's what it truly is, and even as it touches him, he already considers his sister's softness something he must rely on to keep her safe; to keep her by his side. ] For nearly a week, I was, though I have no recollection of being here at all. Perhaps your memories will return; in any case, I'm glad to hear you've lost your humor, considering we're all helpless here. [ and that's a pointed comment; they are helpless, on level with everyone else. ]
[Her stomach turns a little at the idea of him being dead for a week, for a multitude of reasons. For now those reasons outweigh any reason she might have to be angry with him.

It must be dire for you of all people to admit that. [That he's powerless, that is.]
[ he only means to impress upon her how grave the situation is, but her comment throws him some; his eyes widen with minute and passing vulnerability, because it's true, and saying as such confirms he is powerless, powerless despite any laying in wait and searching for an ace to claim and stick up his sleeve.
