Character name and canon: John Watson | BBC Sherlock

About them: (A modern AU of everyone's favorite sidekick to Sherlock Holmes. John is an army doctor, a trauma surgeon, and PA to the world's only consulting detective. His canon point is very shortly after Sherlock's apparent death in-canon. He is aware that there is some sort of bizarre Victorian fictional version of him and his life. He's really not fine with it.

Personality-wise... John just returned from a canon update at a point where his life is pretty much the worst it could possibly be. So he's... a bit changed. Five years changes a guy. While he's still generally polite and patient, he's suffering from severe depression and psychosis after the death of his wife... who is now in Snowhell. Awkwardness abounds! John is still a compassionate doctor who wants to help everyone to the detriment of himself, but he's also a bit more of a closed off dick than he used to be. He's angrier and quieter, and his paranoia and insomnia related to unresolved PTSD issues have resurfaced with avengeance.

Current plans: John is in the ice tunnels and heading north to intercept Sherlock and the Joker. Sherlock picked a fight with a bad guy to get John's attention and pull him out of his grief spiral... per John's wife's death DVD instructions. So, he'll probably be getting into a bit of a fracas with that. The Joker may also be sicking Magenta on Watson. Ultimately, John's trying to head east and get to Mary before moving through the Split Tunnels.

Desired CR: Any and all. John was dealing with fallout from his death price when the new arrivals came in, but I hope to start tagging out new folks with him soon!!!

Not looking for: Anything, really.
Other info: Mostly he's a sad puppy who doesn't want people to know right now.
