[To say that Bad Girl has adjusted poorly to this situation is an understatement. She is not dressed for the weather. She has no survival skills that aren't combat-oriented. And she is woefully, tragically sober. She cannot remember the last time she went this long without at least one beer. And though the worst of the physical symptoms of withdrawal have passed, the psychological still persist.
As a result, she is more than a mite irrational. One could argue that this has nothing to do with the alcohol, which is probably correct, but her irritability has certainly been exacerbated regardless.
So when she sees the anomaly, her hand tightens around the scrap rod of metal she picked up from the rubble on her first day. She knows they're supposed to be able to kill you nigh instantaneously, but her whole body is itching for a fight.
With possibly the only ounce of foresight she has in her entire being, she voices her thoughts to her companion.] I'm gonna fucking kill it.
