It's probably kind of dirty! There's a little bit of fraying at one point on the hem where it let Stephen tease a few threads free for an experiment, but otherwise it's managed to get through their months in Norfinbury without getting torn despite having lost its magical imperviousness. It sticks close to Stephen, either on his shoulders or hovering nearby, and at night they cuddle it wraps itself around him.
