Ginger!! Davesprite's been glad to get to know more about her, and through their interactions she's proven herself both kind and trustworthy. Like when they ran into each other in the hospital? Big vulnerable moment for him what with his loss laying his feelings bare and preventing him from wearing his shades. He almost never takes off his shades around anyone, but she didn't make it weirder than it had to be and didn't take advantage of things. That's a big thing to him when he was literally raised to keep his feelings on the inside, and that kind of support makes it easier for him to learn that showing them more freely isn't a bad thing.

And she's super nice. She made him that tail sock thing without any payment, and she's just been consistently nice in attitude too. She comes off as sad to Davesprite beneath the cheery, sunny personality, and it's not hard to see why in town like this, and she's like one of the last people in his mind to deserve that. He's adamant that her efforts to make clothes for people are good and helpful, and he's glad that even if the whole flower shop thing didn't work out that she's found her passion in doing fashion design. He really, really hopes she can get out of this place and find success with that in the future, since Norfinbury is hardly the best environment to pursue that. People like her are honestly one of the things motivating him to find a way to stop all what's going on and find a way for people to live better lives after this, even if he doesn't feel much hope for his own future. She's good. She deserves good things. He totally owes her a real hug someday (and definitely wants to draw stuff with her).
