three;
Finding the school was a godsend; Minako had been running low on supplies, and she was worried that she'd have to do something serious in order to find any more. Word down the grapevine told her to check out some of the public buildings, and she hadn't been disappointed with the results, filling her backpack eagerly with the supplies to absolute capacity.
However... she hadn't by any means expected a casual supply run to devolve into a ghost story. Despite her friends best efforts back home, Minako'd never been particularly scared by the ghost stories they would tell -- scary movies with vengeful spirits and demons, yeah, but that was different! The he said she said of telling ghost stories had just never been something of relevance, and it's not like the one ghost story she ever investigated resulted in anything real... it ended up being the doings of one of her friends, actually. But it's pretty hard to ignore the ghostly laughing and screaming when you're smack dab in the middle of it, plus all the doors slamming and phantom music in the distance did nothing to ease her nerves...
Minako frowns, hoisting her backpack back over her shoulders as she finishes zipping up the food she'd packed away. Was there someone else in here too, trying to freak people out? Scare them away from all the supplies, maybe? This called for an investigation.
Four;
"Oh my god!"
Minako dives straight for the fruit bowl, taking one of the pears and biting into it eagerly with a small noise of appreciation. She doesn't even worry too much about the juices streaming down her chin, devouring the fruit until there was nothing left but the core and licking her fingers clean. It's not until after she moves to wipe off her face that she notices that someone else was standing not too far away, and her expression turns into the sort of alarmed guilt of someone who had their hand caught in the cookie jar. Oops? She hopes that hadn't belonged to you.
