About them: A modern AU of everyone's favorite sidekick to Sherlock Holmes. John is an army doctor, a trauma surgeon, and PA to the world's only consulting detective. His canon point is just after watching Mary's 'death note' DVD to Sherlock on how to save John. He is aware that there is some sort of bizarre Victorian fictional version of him and his life. He's really not fine with it.
Personality-wise, John is generally polite and patient with just about anyone who isn't immediately a dick to him. He'll sass with the best of them if he's given a reason to. He's a compassionate doctor who wants to help everyone to the detriment of himself, and often will suppress and set aside his own issues to assist others. He's dealing with the fact that he was recently turned into an automaton and made to murder a small child and a woman he likes poorly. Mostly by pretending to be all right when he's really not. This is on top of his general mental health issues. He has PTSD and suffers from general depression that can make him alternately more aggressive and controlling, and just more likely to shut down. He's dealing with insomnia and some hallucinations thanks to everything else going on.
But really he tries to appear perfectly level and normal! He even manages it most of the time over the network.
Current plans: John's plans mostly involve staying away from large groups of people that he could potentially go mad on and murder. He's sticking with Sherlock, Mary, and Mycroft as people who can subdue him, if needed. He's also considering moving the microscope to somewhere more readily accessible, along with putting together a medical supply cache like the food cache Davesprite has set up.

Current plans: he WAS headed for the tunnels to head down to the more newly discovered areas, but got sidelined by a certain clown and now just sort of spends his days digging up corpses and listening to bad jokes. on a broader scale, he's still very much coping from torture tower as well as the general concept of the automaton event. he's not SUPER involved in the overarching plot, but he's trying his best to learn!

His philosophical mannerisms and the sadness in his eyes hint at his true age.
He's existed in his current form for several thousand years at least and before he had a physical from he simply existed as Anima. As Anima he's been around since the birth of the dimensional universe making him around thirteen billion years old.
He's the closest thing to an angel known to exist in his own world but is never actually referred to as one. His existence and powers are explained as being rooted in quantum physics, not magic and he considers his creator to be the will of the universe. If a gun were held to his head he'd say he's only as divine as humanity wants him to be.
chaos's primary function in his world is to be one of the two beings that drive the engine of human consciousness. By chaos's power human will can express individuality and independence but this same power is unraveling the collective unconscious. To counteract this chaos will one day have to reunite with his power and ignite it, destroying the dimensional universe and its attached unconscious layer before the unraveling can spread to higher domains.
...To put all of that in less "what?" terms, he is his universe's harbinger of the Apocalypse and he would very much like to not be. He's not sure why his universe allows him to exist if the very fact of his existence is so dangerous. The fact that he is in Norfinbury and Norfinbury has a timer on it worries him.
Current plans: He's exploring the new area in Residential Zone 3 but doing a not very good job since roaming around in sub zero temperatures without his powers to protect him is mixing him up a bit.
Desired CR: Friends, enemies, companions... One thing I would LOVE is an excuse to explore his morality. For all of his apparent goodness, chaos takes part in below board dealings all the time and used to work doing covert military missions for the government. He will fight dirty if he has to. This is a guy who wound up working on a crew by winning all of the crew's money in poker and holding the money hostage until everyone agreed to do what he said. So don't worry about throwing complicated CR his way I would love to see where it goes.
chaos is also a good shoulder for characters to lean on if they need someone to talk to. Obviously CR might have to build up to that point but he never shares other people's secrets and never judges.

About them: A psychopathic, mass-murdering clown. He commits crimes based on what he thinks is funny. While he is extremely dangerous, it is possible to cross his path and be unharmed if he sees no humor in hurting someone.
In Norfinbury he is a bit declawed and slightly more subdued than he usually is known to be in canon. He is still dangerous and unstable but less able to cause mayhem on the grand scale he used to enjoy, so he sometimes just gets cranky about things.
Joker can actually be a valuable ally when people need someone science minded to investigate something, provided they can coax him into behaving himself. He spends a lot of time testing things but can only get so much done on his own with limited resources and failing health.
Current plans: He's recently met up with Harley and is trying to win her back. He's also looking for a potential victim to inject mummified blood into. Yes, again.
Desired CR: Always up for more ways for him to ruin other characters' lives! Also villain-friend CR, more enemies, people to manipulate, all of it.

About them: A highly depressed young boy who's trying to learn how to better express his emotions in ways that don't involve deflection and grudge-holding. Sassy levels rising.
Current plans: Traveling with Luna! Trying to get his head in order and hopefully lower some of his exposure effects. Other than that not too much, but there have been some requests for him to check some things out so maybe looking for opportune moments to do those.

Character name and canon: Mycroft Holmes, BBC Sherlock
About them: Holds a minor position in the British government (or is the British government, depending on who you ask), and is a misanthrope who detests banal things such as 'social interaction' or 'conversation'. He can be polite when necessary, and will interact as necessity insists, but prefers to converse with people who he deems are intelligent or clever. Basically he's an arrogant git and will probably piss off 99% of the people he comes in contact with. He cares about one important thing--Sherlock, and keeping Sherlock safe, and will ruthlessly throw anyone under the bus to achieve his goals.
He's also suffering from the aftermath of the Noisy Black event, as well as the lack of morality from the recent Hello World event and is terrified he may hurt Sherlock in some way.
He also dies really easy.
Current plans: Mycroft is currently with the Sherlock gang and is still in recovery mode after all the events, but has some vague plans about doing another morgue experiment with tablets filming tablets to avoid anyone getting killed this time.
Desired CR: Would love both positive and negative CR! Mycroft very easily makes enemies, and will go after anyone who threatens Sherlock, and it would be fun to play out anything of that sort. Also positive interactions truly baffle him, which would also be equally awesome to play out. Always up for physical altercations up to and including deaths as well. XD

About them: Holds a minor position in the British government (or is the British government, depending on who you ask), and is a misanthrope who detests banal things such as 'social interaction' or 'conversation'. He can be polite when necessary, and will interact as necessity insists, but prefers to converse with people who he deems are intelligent or clever. Basically he's an arrogant git and will probably piss off 99% of the people he comes in contact with. He cares about one important thing--Sherlock, and keeping Sherlock safe, and will ruthlessly throw anyone under the bus to achieve his goals.
He's also suffering from the aftermath of the Noisy Black event, as well as the lack of morality from the recent Hello World event and is terrified he may hurt Sherlock in some way.
He also dies really easy.

Character name and canon: Peter Jason Quill, AKA Star-Lord
About them: Peter is a basically a puppy in human form.
He's a music-loving space pirate who clings to 80's-pop-culture, makes friends easily and will defend those he cares about with his life. He's also very quickly goaded into arguments and likes to one-up people, especially if it's something he thinks he's good at. If he really likes you, he'll give you a song from his precious Zune. Peter also hates doctors, which is ironic since his closest CR here is with a doctor, but he also recently killed two of them, punched one of said doctors out, and also previously tried to go after another doctor (who he made up with now and thinks is great) so...beware doctors of Norifnbury...? Peter also gets along with kids pretty well because he is a big kid.
Recently the events (and talking with Bucky) has him convinced and terrified he's losing his grip on his (admittedly already shaky) morals and afraid he is becoming as cruel and heartless as his father, and will be trying to actively avoid anyone that can't physically stop him (in case it comes down to fighting if he loses control again).
Current plans: Bucky beat him up, his face is broke, and his knee is still hurt from where House kicked it so he's not going very far. He's at Building 316 after the event and will be sticking around that area probably.
Desired CR: All the CR! Peter's very friendly and gets attached easily, so there's lots of potential for new friendships. He also gets belligerent quickly and there's lots of potential for new enemies as well. Always up for more fights and he's yet to have died, totally open for that happening as well.
