If his style of clothing hadn't been enough of a clue, his reaction to the tablet is all she needs to know that technology like this is something he's unfamiliar with. And, well, she can certainly relate. She'd had a similar experience when she first encountered computers in the 21st Century.

"I have, to no avail. Though I believe anyone who is here and has one of these are able to communicate with each other." Helena at least had the sense to not delve into more detail about the tablet at that precise moment. She looked at him, wondering just how far from home he was. And he said 'gods' not 'god.' Polytheism wasn't exactly popular in the modern day

"So you are not from around here either. Not that I myself know where we are. I have seen buildings in similar style to these before. But we could be anywhere." Her mind was coming up with a plethora of theories on the matter. "Do you mind my asking what gods you are speaking of?" Perhaps the answer could give some insight as to the how or why they were here.
