Crestfallen though she is by the news, Shepard does take a moment to sympathize. "Makes you want to punch something, doesn't it? Or bite it." Her biotic talents wouldn't have been a lot of help here, but that doesn't mean she doesn't miss at least the ability to knock down some walls with a thought.

"I can slide down some stairs sitting down," she concludes after a moment. "Or crawl up some, if I have to. I won't blame you if you'd rather go for safety than stick around for that, though."
