ONE: LIKE A MOTH TO A FLAME Something about the light of the tablet just seems so alluring. You feel compelled to it, checking the network every free moment, and getting agitated when you can't; you need to talk to people, you need to talk to them now, and hopefully they'll actually respond. Maybe others are having similar attachment problems...
Only one way to find out.
TWO: CAN WE GET ANOTHER LIFELINE OR TWO? So that's it. You're stuck. Maybe there's some kind of a coded message you simply can't decipher. Maybe it's as simple as something's blocking your way and you've got a few tools scattered around, but you can't figure out how to use them to solve whatever puzzle is keeping you from progressing. Or maybe it's something else entirely. Either way, you have no idea how to get around it.
Luckily for you, there's a whole network full of helpful - or maybe unhelpful - souls. Perhaps it's time to ask for some assistance? Someone else is bound to have some kind of insight.

THREE: SWING BATTER BATTER SWING BATTER BATTER SWING The toy store is nice and cozy, even though sometimes it feels like the dolls are watching you. So you've stayed here for just a little too long, and you're starting to notice... things. But that's just your imagination, right? They can't actually be watching you. They can't actually be moving, either. That door opening? Those footsteps? Maybe they're just a figment of your imagination.
...or maybe they're not. Maybe you should take a baseball bat to whoever that is and find out.
FOUR: A FATAL FUGUE Sunset is fast approaching. You can see some buildings up ahead - if you hurry, you'll make it indoors just in time. But wait! Do you hear someone calling for help and feel compelled to investigate? Do you feel a debilitating headache coming on? Or do you suddenly get a really, really bad feeling about actually walking through those doors?
If you don't snap out of it, it could be deadly. Luckily, there's someone already in that house that might be able to drag you to safety, with or without your approval.
[She does, seriously. As chipper as Ginger sounds, the circles around her eyes and the slight edge of mania to her voice hints at how very, very little sleep she's been getting lately.]
Even if I'm not looking at the network, I just, like, have to be doing something with it so I use it as a light to work on sewing or drawing when it's dark. It's totally super duper exhausting!
[She sighs. This isn't very fun at all. Still, she can't stop herself from thinking about how totally gorgeous Peggy looks despite being all tired and grumpy.]
[Peggy brings a hand to her face. She wonders how tired she looks. With barely any makeup around, it's hard to hide the evidence of her sleep deprivation, but Ginger still manages to look all fresh, rosy cheeked. She makes Peggy smile.]
I long for some powder and mascara! At least I still have my lipstick. Makes me love sort of alive, I guess.
What? No way! Oh my God, I totally look like some sort of ghost monster! You're the one who looks amazing!
[Ginger is amazed, astounded! How can someone so gorgeous, so regal looking possibly think that she's the one that looks good?]
Where are you? I've been collecting, like, a whole bunch of makeup and brushes. Some hair curlers, too! I'll be happy to share anything you'd like. And did you hear? Somebody found a store full of beauty supplies downtown!
Oh Ginger, you look wonderful, believe me! [Peggy really wishes she could reach out and pet Ginger's hair, wondering if it's as soft as it looks. She is so lovely, she warms Peggy's heart by her earnestness.]

Oh...oh, goodness! Peggy, I just realized--you're Peggy, aren't you? Like, I mean, I know you're you! But, you're, Peggy, like, Steve's best friend Peggy that he misses so so so so so much!
[Peggy grins and chuckles, so endeared by Ginger. She's just so sweet, radiating with innocence, which is kind of special in such a blasted place.
And then she - Peggy colours when Ginger asks her if she is the Peggy, like she is in some way special. And the fact that Steve, apparently, talked about her...Peggy hides her smile behind her hand before growing just too curious.]
