Yuh-huh. But think of it this way! Trolls are all about the murder and the terribleness and the being giant festering piles of nook discharge, right? So the chances are that all those people who didn't deserve it would have deserved it later. So killing them before they did bad stuff was totally a heroic and cool thing to do! Logic.
