Well, she isn't 100% happy with her current situation.
In FFIV TAY she seems already distant from her human friends, she literally interacts only with Edge of her previous companions (and mostly because he's really infatuated with her, even if she's clearly not interested Their combo is called 'broken heart' and it's him confessing his feelings and Rydia shooting arrows in his direction) and focuses on her new BFF Luca (A dwarf and also a creature of the underworld like Rydia) and her beloved eidolons.
That, the fact that in the ending of FFIV she decides to live between monsters (before being exiled) and how she spent 17 years trying to return to her monster family seem to suggest she's not so confortable between humans after all. Especially considering most of her friends are royalty. Add the fact she basically recluded herself in her village (now, I may be wrong on this but in the english version one of the npc says she rarely returns to her 'other homeland' and I was told the japanese version has a clear reference on her not usually leaving Mist To the point Edge sneaks away from Eblan to spy on her because he knows he's going to find her in her village, somehow.) living between not pure-blooded summoners and- yeah, I can't really see her like a person content of being surrounded by so many humans. And I could really write pages on how Rydia seems 'out of place' in the sequel, where she's no longer allowed to be between monsters, but this isn't probably the place.

Still, she's a friendly and social creature by nature and she's trying to understand the people around her, she cares about the humans stuck in the city- but it's true people like Toriel, Haurchefant, Emmanellain, Beckett and the homestuck team make her feel better.

She doesn't mind too much the cold, even if it's a nuisance, after all her home has been in a small village lost between mountain, considering how little she canonically wears the summoner probably learnt how to deal with low temperatures.

So, yeah, living with so many humans around is 'okay' even if sometimes she has issues in understanding them and even if she'd like to see people acting in a more peaceful way (Mist and the Feymarch both seem very small places where everyone supports each other) she's okay. Steve had been a great friend, too, and this certainly helped.
She wouldn't complain about having more monsters around, thought...

Condons aside (or maybe not?) what is the strangest thing Rydia feels she's learned about humans and modern life in Snowhell? Does she feel like her world is missing out on anything?
