Jade is so protective of him it's a little embarrassing, like. Talk shit get hit. She's also soooo happy that he finally seems to think of her as a friend and it warms her frostbitten heart. :')

Honestly, he's been such a constant fixture in this snowy shithole she's always a 'lil on edge whenever they're separated. Pretty much everyone she's been around this much has died, pls don't end up like Grandpa. Or Bec. Or John. Or Davesprite.

i think she is possibly his best friend, though she and beckett are very different types of friends

he gets weird when they're seperated too. he probably wouldn't recognize it as such unless they stayed apart for awhile, though
