tl;dr cr meme

1. Post with your character.
2. When people tag you, respond with emotionally compromising essays about what their character means to yours! Or doesn't.
3. Cry a lot.

Alfie Solomons

He doesn't have a lot of tl;dr feelings yet, but hit me anyway!

Alfie is pretty neutral on Tifa so far! He thinks she's a very nice lady, and probably the kind of person who's needed here by a lot of people. He figures she'll strongly disapprove of who he is and what he does back home, but he doesn't really care about her disapproval so it's all good. 8]

the correct answer here is "a bromance so great it should be criminal"

Royce is absolutely one of Alfie's favorites so far! He thinks they're on the same page a lot of the time, though he does think Royce's paranoia is extreme (but completely understandable tbh) and probably to his detriment sometimes. But he respects him and his opinions a lot in general, and he's far and away the person he most enjoys traveling with.

House is definitely interesting to Alfie! He takes everything he says with a big grain of salt and just generally doesn't take him very seriously, but he thinks he has at least some useful information, and he can be amusing to talk to when Alfie's in the right mood for it. When he heard his voice, he was surprised that he was an older-sounding adult, and he still kind of mentally categorizes him as a hotshot twenty-something. He's not completely ruling out the possibility that it's a complete act (especially since House has proven to be smarter than he looks a couple of times), but he's not sure how likely it is either. MORE INVESTIGATION NEEDED. On the like-dislike scale, he's pretty murkily neutral.

Ohhhhh boy. Alfie is definitely wary of the Joker, but on the flip side, he's very curious about some of his plans and ideas. Still, he doesn't want to work too closely with him for a lot of reasons, the biggest of which is that he doesn't like to get too professionally close with people he can't control at least a little bit, and the Joker is so completely uncontrollable. He doesn't quite fear him, but he definitely comes closer to fear with him than he does with anybody else so far.

He doesn't even know enough to be properly neutral, I don't think, just because of the circumstances surrounding their interaction so far - he feels like he doesn't know a thing about the real Rhys. There are definitely some vague "trauma sucks bro; hope you get better" feelings in there, but he's still not very invested. When they talk again he'll probably ask him how he's doing, though!

GOOD TBH

Alfie believes Watson has good intentions, and even though he'll probably needle him about it forever, he doesn't actually get the sense that he's trying to be The Law of Norfinbury - it's more of a "sometimes I feel like you kind of tread too close, so I'm here to keep you on your toes" kind of thing. He's also still kind of inclined to like him better than Steve (and he doesn't even totally hate Steve), but there are definite "you are too policeman-like for my liking, I see you" feelings there. If he ever needs a doctor, he's going to House. 8|

After meeting him in the dream and getting a good look at him, Alfie minds the constant text less! He'd still prefer audio/video, but he feels less 8| about not getting it. Bucky reminds him of Royce a bit, but even more paranoid and unfriendly; he's tentatively neutral, but keeping an eye on him because he doesn't feel like he has as good of a read on him as he wants to.

Neutral to positive-leaning neutral! He's not entirely sure what her deal is yet, but he likes her no-nonsense attitude.

Someday they should discover that they're hat buddies.

He hasn't met her in person yet, but so far he thinks of her pretty similarly to how he thinks of Tifa - polite, nice, good for people who need to see a sympathetic face or hear a kind word, etc. He thought the Cockney accent thing was funny.

Brian and Ecks: the infuriating text-only contingent

Alfie doesn't have much patience for Brian's weird typing style, but he's judged that trying to get him to change it would be a lost cause, so he hasn't bothered. Even more annoying to him is how obtuse Brian is, and that he definitely interprets as more willful than it probably is; sorry, Brian. He really wants to find out more about him.
