Despite a rather strange, slightly heated and bizarre first impression, Peggy quite likes Dr Watson. He is competent, intelligent, does not look for trouble, and is trying to help. She appreciates that in a man, and she appreciates that he's got over whatever his hang-up was with her and is now treating her like he is anyone else (or, almost?). She'd like to know him better, as he seems like the kind of person she'd be able to call a friend in the future!

His compassion when she showed herself heartbroken on the network is also not something she will forget.
