1. Post with your character.
2. When people tag you, respond with emotionally compromising essays about what their character means to yours! Or doesn't.
3. Cry a lot.

God, what a shiptease these two are, though.

Watson is like a beacon of kindness and compassion and one of the people she finds herself gravitating towards the most right now because of that. He's honest, trustworthy, and... well, yes, he's a huge ham, which makes her uncomfortable every time just due to how horribly shy and adverse to compliments that she is, but the fact that she was able to bring it up without him turning it into a huge joke (aka he actually listened!!!!) was a big, big point in his favor. Plus, he's a doctor, and having someone that isn't House (or Clayton, now that he's dead) to talk to on a professional level is really satisfying.

Biggest thing, though, is that he's been active in trying to provide her with a level of emotional support. They still don't know each other well, and Luna feels badly that they've had some of these talks even though he's only been here for a couple weeks. But it doesn't change that his ability to listen, to empathize, and to still trust her beyond it really touches her. She wants to be able to provide him that same support, though she often has doubts about her ability to do so, especially now that she's seen his nightmares and seen just how much he psychologically might be struggling with. She doesn't want him to have to deal with that alone, but at the same time, what little confidence she has gets overwhelmed and makes her second-guess herself. She doesn't want to be empty words, and she can't physically be there for him if that was something he needed. So she just provides what little she can and hopes that it's, at the very least, enough to show that she worries for him and wants to be there for him.

Also: Watson? Sherlock? Moriarty? She's aware of the book references, and she's getting the feeling it can't be coincidence. But that's not about to be something that she asks. At the very most, she might ask someday if he's an actor or something, and gauge what to do based on his response, but... at this point, it seems wiser just not to say anything.
