Ginger is very tired. She hasn't and doesn't want to give up on Brian or being his friend--if she knew more about Jade, she'd probably be encouraged and talk to her and see if maybe she could get closer to the both of them. And she did take him seriously when he said Clayton was a liar--it did influence the way she's reacted to a few of the things he's said to her, if only in private, in her own head. Still, liar or not it hurts her and exhausts and frustrates her that he insists on acting like Clayton being a liar made him someone who deserved to be hurt or treated badly.

She knows she doesn't know the full story--and it's good that Brian didn't vocalize how happy he was that Clayton's name showed up on the Obituary because she might have lost her composure more than she'd ever mean to. It's hard for her to understand someone like him--not just because he's quiet and he's different, he doesn't think there's anything wrong with him, she doesn't think he's sick. But he seems to have a very particular way of judging people that doesn't sit well with her.

She wishes she had the chance to know him better.
