AGE-DOWN MEME

Inspired by this and this! Post top levels of your characters as they were when they were younger - it's up to you whether that means "when they were a kid", "six months ago", or something in between. Then tag around, either throwing kids together or throwing normally-aged current CR at people in order to "????" about how their friend/enemy/casual acquaintance is suddenly bitty.

I wouldn't let you. [ And there's his usual scowl. ] Kill you first. If you tried.

[devoutish]

Then I will be especially sure not to risk it.

[bittytsun]

[ Good. Maybe he preens a little. He's tough. He already has, okay, he could do it again. ] What are you called?

[devoutish]

Alfie Solomons. What about you?

[bittytsun]

Royce. [ Sniff. ]

[devoutish]

[H...uh. He's always been pretty sure that Duster is an alias, but he wonders if this one is too.]

Royce. All right.

Do you know where you are right now, Royce?

[bittytsun]

No. I think you do, though.

[devoutish]

Not as much as I would like.

You've been brought here - not by me. I got taken by the same ones that took you.

Why would they want me for?

[devoutish]

Don't know for sure. It's second to escape on the list of things to figure out.

[bittytsun]

[ He curls up a little more tightly. ] You want to escape?

[devoutish]

Yeah. I wanna go home.

[bittytsun]

I don't.

[devoutish]

You don't wanna stay here, do you?

[bittytsun]

I have a house here. [ Another sniff. ] And nobody steals my food.

[devoutish]

Have you got a coat and blanket?

[bittytsun]

No. Didn't have one at home neither.

[devoutish]

It's colder here.

[He's assuming.]

Well - find that and you'll be all set, eh?

[bittytsun]

[ It is colder here! Royce rubs his nose. It's running and he's annoyed by it. ] I guess.

Where did you get food from?

[devoutish]

[Alfie pulls his throw blanket and a towel out of his pack, getting up and casually tossing them over the back of one of the room's armchairs.]

We find it. At the school, the grocery store...

[bittytsun]

[ Royce eyes both of those things, fingers twitching where they're curled up in his lap. He also startles slightly when Alfie stands up, but he doesn't move. He's tense as hell, though. ]

What do you have to do to get it?

[devoutish]

Walk to it. Pick it up. Nobody guards it.

[bittytsun]

Oh. [ Okay. As long as he doesn't have to pay for it. He'd steal it anyway, but that makes things easier. Another sniff, and Royce pulls himself up carefully, turning so that his back is to a wall and that he's facing Alfie again. Hesitantly: ] That sounds too easy.

[devoutish]

I'm trapped here against my will. I'll take easy.
