[ Someone is trapped in the grocery store freezer.

Someone who is screaming almost as loud as the tiny robot bashing desperately against it. Eventually, the lil thing drops off, having apparently smashed himself into deactivation. ]

Hello?? HELLO??? Someone open this thing up, I'm gonna run out of air and die!

[ The Someone is muffled, but sounds quite young. Will you free the small idiot? ]

[ He realizes, belatedly, that it's gone quiet out there. Too quiet, except for that Dumb Little Girl. ]

[ It's what her dad calls her, ok, it seems appropriate. ]

If he shocks me then my dad will find out and he'll go to robot jail and you'll be stuck in there forever! And then he'll sell tickets, so people can come and see you all frozen up in there, and he'll call it the vault of the crybaby.

[ Dumpy wakes up alright, spinning wildly and trilling in confusion.

Rhys has had it with Lil Miss Showoff, though, and he suddenly rams his lil self against the door. This works! This also gives the poor child a gushing bloody nose. ]

[ Nope. Royce is going to peek in with a skeptical look. He's also ten but somehow tinier, but not any less full of sass. Which means he folds his arms and stares at Rhys.

There was ice cream so I went in to grab some but I didn't know the door was gonna get stuck!!

Pleeease just let me out?

Is the handle broken? [That's an only slightly older boy calling from outside. He's... not really worried, just being loud so the idiot trapped inside the freezer can hear him.]

[Okay, fine, he's going to tug at the door from outside.

After he takes a couple minutes to try and figure out what the heck this robot is.]

[ Rhys stumbles out, gasping like he only had one breath left. He pants until he sees Dumpy in Stein's clutches. ]

Thank -- wait. Waitywait. Do you know what you're doing?

No. [At least he's honest about it, even if he's turning the robot over and over and poking around in any exposed wiring.]

I don't usually take machines apart.

[ Well, Rhys was going to share the ice cream he got, but this kid is talking about pulling robots apart. HIS tiny little robot friend.

So he marches over and shoves at the bigger kid. ]

I'm not going to hurt him. ["Bigger" might not be the best term, depending on Rhys' size. Stein's twelve, but he's the smallest kid in his class. The day when he towers over everyone he meets is far away right now.

The shoving just gets him to tighten his grip.]

He ran into the door and stopped working, I'm going to fix him.

[HERE RHYS, HAVE A NOT-KID. Alfie yanks the door open, then tosses a blanket over Rhys. Even with the power off, it's probably pretty chilly in there.]

[ Rhys practically falls out, ever the drama queen, and wraps himself in the blankets. He sniffs, shivers, and gives Weirdo Beardo a cautious look. ]

I coulda. I was in there a long time, and nobody helped. Jerks.
