Inspired by this and this! Post top levels of your characters as they were when they were younger - it's up to you whether that means "when they were a kid", "six months ago", or something in between. Then tag around, either throwing kids together or throwing normally-aged current CR at people in order to "????" about how their friend/enemy/casual acquaintance is suddenly bitty.

Not your house. [ He's not moving. He's also got his letter opener ready. Is he really going to fight a twelve year old. Signs point to yes. ]

It is my house. I'm giving you one last chance. Go.

[bywolves]

[ This is a matter of pride. Royce doesn't really want to give Alfie the satisfaction but he also doesn't want to stab the kid to death.

He's reasonably sure he can subdue Alfie should the kid attack him. So he doesn't move. ]

[babygangster]

[And Alfie lunges, aiming to put his scalpel tight against Royce's throat.]

[bywolves]

[ Royce is expecting it - he's not exactly inexperienced with people lunging at him with sharp objects. Alfie tackles him and Royce doesn't bother dodging, just falls back with the lunge.

He digs his letter opener into Alfie's shoulder, right against the artery he knows is there - he doesn't know it as an artery, but he knows what kills and what doesn't. Doesn't break the skin yet, but it's a close thing.

He looks up at Alfie mildly. ] Cut my throat and you'll lose use of your arm.

[babygangster]

[Alfie holds the scalpel where it is, and does the first thing that comes to mind - he spits in his face.]

[bywolves]

[ ... Okay, see, that's rude.

Royce shifts - it's a fluid motion. He pulls his legs up and between them and attempts to kick Alfie as hard as he possibly can, either in the stomach or the chest. The aim is to get Alfie off of him, at the very least. Winded, at best. Royce really doesn't want to hurt him.

Should he manage to land his kick, he wipes his face off with his sleeve and pulls himself to stand. ]
