Since Ecks has a favorite sound I assume she has also developed other favorite things — what are some things that she generally enjoys? e.g., colors, foods, textures? actually does she even... taste... stuff... i am so sorry... for my ignorance...

She does have the full array of senses, but back home she had a fairly limited range of things to experience before she ran away from home. She likes the open sky even if it also kind of scares her (Norfinbury is actually less overwhelming in that regard because of the high walls and the tendency for it to be dark most of the day). More recently, she's developed a taste for ice cream, and she really likes the plush cat she picked up early on in Norfinbury. Maybe not the color so much (it's red, and blood is red), but she likes the way its fur feels.
