Headcanon Meme!

I had to reuse this image okay

1. Reply with your characters
2. Tag around and ask people questions about their characters! Headcanon can be used pretty loosely, too! "What did they want to be when they grew up?", "How did they feel about this canon event?", etc!
3. Answer the pressing questions you get!

I imagine Hange was the Weird Kid. Probably not too unlike Armin, honestly. Always asking uncomfortable questions about things and being a nerd. In canon they say Hange wasn't always curious about Titans, but I still like to think that they were curious about other things. I highly doubt one experience would turn someone into a reckless seeker of knowledge. So probably the kid who ate paste in order to figure out what it tasted like and maybe dissected frogs.

I also imagine Hange idolized the Survey Corps, since their loyalty to the cause of humanity seems pretty damn unwavering.

This is going to be a combination of canon and headcanon, basically. I don't recall that they actually say when/where Hange first met a Titan, but I'd assume it was their first time out with the Survey Corps, before they were an officer. Since Hange's quite skilled with 3dmg, I think they were probably capable of getting away and/or fighting it, but since most squads lose like half their members on day one of active duty, that probably happened here. ESPECIALLY since the Corps had so little knowledge of how to fight back before Hange started finding shit out.

So basically I imagine Shit Got Real, Hange barely survived, and (this is where we get into canon,) they p much hated Titans from that day forward and became a Titan murdering machine up until the change-over to being fascinated by them.
