Alfie also feels very lonely and isolated in Norfinbury, so clearly we need to find a way to make them talk about their respective sads at some point.

I agree 100%. England is obviously predisposed to being more open with his citizens, so if the subject came up I don't think it would take too much work to get him talking! The biggest obstacle would just be that he wouldn't want to seem weak in front of Alfie. He does really want to be on good terms with Alfie, though, so ultimately he'd be happy to have common ground to talk about...MAYBE if they got talking about less personal stuff they had in common first, it could lead to loneliness issues! WHATEVER WORKS I'd love to make it happen c:

Excellent! I think it'd actually be pretty easy to get Alfie to bring it up - he likes to poke and prod at people because he likes to know who he's dealing with.

Aw yeah. Normally England doesn't respond well to prodding but Alfie gets a free pass for being English and all. Lucky(???) for Alfie! He would have to deal with questions in response though since England would want to get to know him.

GOOD Alfie is still pretty ??? about the country thing, so getting to know each other is always good.
