ONE: DRUG PUSHING What luck! You've found a bottle of medication...only, oh, it looks like it's a prescription for one of the other people trapped here with you. You have a lot of power in your hands now: you could do the right thing and give it back without a fight, demand a worthy trade to see how badly they want it, or auction it off to the highest bidder. They're not the only ones who could use a painkiller or an antidepressant, after all. If you don't need it for yourself, you're sure to be able to fetch a high price (or bank some high gratitude points) for it from someone.
TWO: CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS After a long day of traveling, you reach into your bag to scrounge up some dinner but you find that all of your food has gone bad. Everything, including the rations you stocked up on just yesterday, is covered in a thick layer of mold. Even the packaged nonperishables are somehow spoiled. Your whole backpack reeks of rot, and nothing edible has been spared. Maybe you can restock tomorrow, but what if you're not the only one whose food has been tainted? And what about the meal you had for lunch just hours ago? Your stomach turns. You'd better take to the network to get to the bottom of this

THREE: WRITING ON THE WALL You've just settled into a building for the night with your traveling companion when you notice a message left somewhere on one of the walls. It's signed by a username you don't recall ever seeing before. It tells you discoveries and facts about the town you don't think are really real or should be followed. Tells you that they're heading in a direction they're convinced has the exit, and urge you to follow their lead. One of you thinks it's worth consideration. After all, why would anyone leave a message like this if they didn't mean it? But there are risks involved in chasing the assertions. Do you have the resources left to try?
FOUR: CORPSE PARTY Just before lockdown, you and your traveling companion are about to seek shelter in the nearest building when you spot a huddled figure nearly buried in the snow. When you get a little closer, you see that it's a person wrapped tightly in a blanket. Neither of you recognizes them, but you can't be sure; the blanket covers their face. They seem to have succumbed to the elements, but it looks like they're still breathing! You manage to drag them into the building with you with seconds to spare. Good job, you've saved somebody's life! But, as you pull apart the blankets to check on your new companion, you realize that they're not a "somebody" at all... And you're locked in with it until morning.
[ It definitely needs to be said. Dropping down to crouch position as he weighs the pros and cons of actually touching the snow encrusted useless sack again. His gaze flicks over to Kanan a moment as if considering the addition to no maiming. ]
Take all the fun out of it. [ His tone of voice remains at an even cadence as he speaks.
He shakes his head at the sign of life. ] Chest is still moving.
[ For all they know, something climbed into the figure and is living inside of it. There are no signs of damage to the blanket, but he's not brushing off the snow.
Deciding the blanket is useless, he fishes inside of his pockets for the pair of children scissors he found. Starting from the top of the guy's head and working his way down, not really caring if he removes hair in the process. Snip. Snip. ]
[ Kanan's grumbling that one mostly to himself as he finishes up with the fire and wipes his hands off on his pants to get them relatively clean before he goes to investigate their new, apparently still living, friend. ]
[ If this was anyone else, he would have his guard up. He's study Kanan enough to know he won't pull anything while Vanitas' attention is else where.
Canting his head towards the scissors as he continues cutting away at the fabric. ]
I don't think it has hair. [ A pause. ] Or an ear. Or skin. [ Kanan said nothing about leaving the thing without knicks or cuts. He stops as soon as he reaches what appears to be the end of it's head. A flick of the scissors to push back the blanket. That sure is something dead. ]
Looks like you're late.

[ Kanan makes a small, disgusted noise as the smell hits him, but there's no stronger reaction than that. He's dealt with enough death - before and after Norfinbury - that this one doesn't affect him much. Except - ]

[ Reluctantly - it's going to be really difficult to get corpse-smell out of his clothes without a working 'fresher - Kanan kneels opposite of Vanitas and studies the corpse. It's undeniably rotting, with skin already sloughing off in places now that they've got it in out of the freezing cold, but - ]

[ This is said as if it were an accusation toward Vanitas, specifically. ]
[ There is an annoyed look being sent to the Jedi across from him. ]
That's what I said. [ He isn't repeating it again and it's chest is clearly moving. Closing the scissors and shifting it in his hands to aim the blades downward. Aiming it where the lungs should be. Yup, he has every intention of piercing the thing's chest if he isn't stopped. ]
[ Kanan's first two instincts - to reach for a blaster and to knock Vanitas out of the way using the force - cost him precious seconds of reaction time. He manages to grab onto Vanitas' wrist, but it's a near thing, and hard from this angle to force it away from the body if it's struggling. ]
[ So no, not letting go. Kanan's stronger than he looks, though if there's much more of this struggling he's going to have to actually try and subdue Vanitas. ]
[ By stabbing it. Jerking back trying to free himself from Kanan's hold, while trying to pull the Jedi over the stupid breathing corpse. Shifting onto his rear as he sets lets heels against the thing's side. ]
If you want to play nice to it [ Pushing the corpse into Kanan as he continues to lean back and struggle. ] then you can have it.
