i am sorry to say that despite being an obnoxious american teenager for most of my life i know tragically next to nothing about american comics and even less so about the joker

but i appreciate your haurchefant very much!! he has lots of enthusiasm and energy and the psls we did ages and ages ago are some of my most treasured threads (because they still make me cry...) and my one regret is that we don't quite tag each other that quickly anymore on account of Universal Busyness (not to be confused with business) but that is not a criticism so much as it is a deeply unfortunate turn of events

here's hoping we will have lots of fun in the future with these dumb elves as well!! ヾ(´▽｀)ゝ

Edit: Also due to me speed typing faster than my brain goes so I tend to have trouble with any typo not caught by autocorrect. That above part might have sounded catty I super do not mean it that way! Always feel free to tap me on the shoulder if I am dropping words or putting in the wrong one completely I mean it.

in all honesty i was making fun of myself because i personally had to go and look up the difference between business and busyness just now
because according to online dictionaries they are indeed two different words
but you could not have known of my struggles so it was more one of those things i say for no particular reason whatsoever...
(i don't make sense even to myself most of the time so it's okay
the point that i don't use punctuation if i can help it definitely doesn't help either)

No worries, I did not think you were teasing me either! (This language, man, it messes with you.) I am just hyper aware of the fact that I am a typo factory. And this awareness does nothing to curb the typos.

When I first joined here, I was legitimately shocked to know that the Joker and Haurchefant were played by the same person! You do such a great job of distinguishing their personalities, and you do such a great job of nailing each character's voice and nuance. It seems like you never break step for either of them and I find that really impressive!

I don't know how you do it, but I am very appreciative of the fact that you do!

Another player with completely different characters that manages to balance things out beautifully, and write them both so, so well. I'm always thread stalking because we don't have much CR but I always want to read you. So good, and I hope we get to thread more in the future!

How on earth do you manage to handle two such morally opposed characters without bleed?? THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW. But holy shit, whether it's Archie or the Joker, you never EVER fail to deliver. And kudos for long-terming a villian; that is never easy to do in DWRP. Seriously, Psi, I wish I could accomplish the balance you've got going for you.

Honestly you've been one of the most welcoming and all-inclusive people I've played with here in my whole time. You're always down for new things, whether it's a big game-shattering plot or even just throwing a psycho clown and a goat and child in the same toy store for the night and seeing what happens. It's really wonderful and so much more appreciated than I can say.

This is to say nothing for your characters themselves, which others have covered better than me. Joker and Haurche are both wonderful, and it's always so much fun to see what they get up to.

I haven't really had the chance to interact with Haurchefant properly, clearly something I need to correct in the future. For reals.

What I have thread stalked of Joker/played off of leaves me completely blown away. I've probably said this before but you have such a keen balance for Joker. He can be legit creepy, funny, malicious and comes off like the force of nature he is in comics canon (what I've vaguely learned about it through CR with comics characters). You never overplay his 'evilness' or go for the cheap seats version of mentally unbalanced. I've seen a lot of jokers played that way, so this is such a breath of fresh air. He has a lot of weird layers and you keep them all balanced.

Whilst we haven't had the chance to talk a ton, from what I've seen you're just always down to clown try anything and everything. Getting a plot going is super easy and it feels like I can just approach you to chatter if need be. You're such a friendly person. Keep up the coolness B]!!!

So I imagine you know by now that this whole game is blown away by how you manage to do both Archie and the Joker ;-) so let me instead express my astonishment at how MUCH you put into both of them. They could be easily reducible characters at the hand of lesser writers and yet you always make them both so delightfully solid, layered with different ideas and yet never breaking character even when they're doing the very unexpected. The thread where Haurchefant talked Beckett out of dying remains one of the most powerful moments in this game for me. Sometimes I go back and read it just to admire your subtlety and grace as a writer. Even when your tags are short, they always pack a punch, always show thought and depth, and I can only be madly jealous of your talent. Never change <333.

You're really wonderful and so willing to be flexible with plans. You are awesome people. I'm amazed by the Joker so far. He's great. Hauchefant's interactions are always a treat and I love his cr with House and Beckett. *^*

I still sometimes forget that Haurchefant and Joker are played by the same person, because you have such an amazing talent for writing distinctive characters, even down to the action brackets and everything, that it seems like it must be two different people. But no, it's just you, and you're awesome.

Haurchefant makes me so happy every time I see him around. I'm super canonblind, but he has the sort of warmth and energy that just can't help but make me smile and you get it over so well. I have to admit that I was wary when I saw the Joker first time, because I've seen a few Jokers and so many are reduced just to cardboard cut-outs who laugh maniacally with no substance. But wow. WOW. Your Joker is so pitch perfect that I have to question if you're one of the actual comic writers. Seriously, never change.

I don't really know either of your characters very well because I am canonblind, but I have always felt like you have a really good idea of what drives your characters, and your understanding lends to really cohesive, strong characterisation! Even though I've never played FF14 or read a DC comic in my entire life, I feel like I really know what Haurchefant and the Joker are about, since you demonstrate what makes them tick so well. You're also so laid back and easy to plot with, and I feel like that's really important, especially when playing a big villain like the Joker. I hope we get to thread more sometime!
