I'm not going to say you didn't fuck up, because you did. You did pretty majorly and I sure as shit didn't trust you then. If you were going to press me, I'd say I still don't at the base of it. But you want to do better—you do want that, right?—and that's a damn sight better than most people about their mistakes.

So I've gotta ask, and you probably won't like it but I'm doing it anyway: do you just hate what was done to you, or is it your own self you're treating as the problem here?

I hate what was done to me. I know what the Soldier did isn't my fault, but I still did it. It was still my hands, still-- me, and I remember it. What they did to me made me into a problem, and I can't run from that.
