The tags you do are so engaging and well written, I don't know how you keep up with that distinctive speech patterns but you do, and you do them so well. It never feels like it's forced or stilted, and I have a lot of admiration for that.

And in our current one, I want to say that tag where Francel described what he saw during the static was a complete goddamn joy to read. When characters retell long things like that, it can be difficult sometimes to keep their voice in it clearly, but there was a whole natural, personal flow to it. Like I said I don't know Francel well directly, but even so, there was a very clear, character-distinct tone to it all. There was something very narrative to it, with natural transitions as he went on and with his asides, and the emotion in it was apparent and really well conveyed. TL;DR I was impressed!
And I also want to say after your own reply to my comment here that I'm really grateful you gave Davesprite a chance despite your misgivings about the canon! I've played from Homestuck for years, so I know people can be very eh about it (definitely with good reason), so I always appreciate this kind of thing. Especially since it's made for the CR it has. I'm looking forward to more in the future!

i don't know anything about the fate/ series though, besides vague stuff about the holy grail war and wishes and shit?? like i've just wanted to play this game because i'm addicted to mobage (i used to play yume100 but i got sick of the gameplay and the CGs weren't that great, and now i play tales of link but that game has no CGs with which to reward my thirsty soul)
i'm in pain bc arjuna was the first servant from fate/GO to catch my eye, like i've hoarded fanart of him without knowing anything about him?! there's just something about his design and art that pings me hella, but i don't know anything about his character or source material at all lmao rip
BUT I AM A HUGE KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE NERD ACTUALLY (probably not a surprise given that ffxiv also has a knights of the round and a generally similar fantasy medieval atmosphere) SO LIKE i've also admired fate's sir gawain and sir bedivere designs for a long time... i fucking love gawain, too, like he is just the Unproblematic Fave and meanwhile lancelot can go eat a dick??? ok i also love gaheris and gareth but hey're not in fate/GO that's just my mythology fetish but anyway
the point is that all the boys i like in this game seem to be rare so i'll just be here crying

god I WISH I WASN'T SO CANONBLIND TO FFEVERYTHING because I love watching Francel be such a pussyfooted snob child. He's got such diverse reactions and deep insecurities and SOME REALLY INTERESTING STRENGTHS that you can definitely tell are not as mature as they could be and have a lot of potential. He screams of someone struggling with what he wants and what might be expected of him, and while you don't downplay that aspect, you also don't make it too heavy-handed, either. He comes across satisfyingly conflicted, and it makes him really interesting to stalk and play off of.
Also I hope he gets to step on Lutha's face someday and/or vice versus because I need the two gay noble brats interacting more.

i'm so glad this is how he comes off to you though because i also think francel is full of potential that is just untapped because he has too many insecurities and too many problems with himself!! i'm definitely very self-conscious about whether or not people think i play him too heavy-handedly, like if i overemphasize his self-hatred or his gayness too much
i also hope he gets to step on lutha's face someday soon augh 'cause that would just have such interesting IC repercussions for the both of them... i considered doing it this event but then i was like eh i want estinien/haurchefant/aymeric to be able to comment on it and they won't be around to witness it during this event 'cause Elf Drama, but SOMEDAY SOON we shall orchestrate it and it shall be glorious!!

HOWEVER, he is in the museum for a bit before estinien hunts him down, and i'm already rping a thread with andersen going to try and kill him, so if you want charlie can also try to kill francel in the museum?! he'll have to get away somehow so he can be killed by estinien BUT HEY they can have a... talk... before the murdery bits happen!!!
