Character name and canon: Gregory House | House MD
About them: Sarcastic asshole, genius doctor, complete troll. House is a grumpy addict with an acerbic wit and a tendency to screw with people wherever he can. He's also intensely depressed and makes bad life choices about who to antagonize and what to do as a result, even while he pretends he's TOTALLY FINE most of the time. Those four murders and seven total deaths mean nothing. He's actually making an effort not to get murdered again, or at least not put other people in harms way for it. He's started on anti-depressants to stabilize his mood, but he's still making poor life choices. As is his wont.
Current plans: Not dying for a bit? More seriously, he's trying to head east to the new area. He's waiting around to help Quark out with his eyes and meet up with Ecks and, most probably, Castiel.
Desired CR: Any and all. House is easy to get negative CR with because he's a complete dick. If you want positive CR, though, we can work toward it, probably!
Let me tell you Terri I was not expecting Castiel's first big Quest Objective in this game to be "Confirm or deny the presence of Satan" but here we are.
The fun thing is given the people Castiel tends to hang out with in canon and their average levels of obnoxious douchebag these two could wind up with a belligerent sort of friendship once he's absolutely sure House is not the devil.
I really didn't expect that to work so amazingly well for catching Castiel's attention, but I'm delighted it has! And hey, Castiel. Maybe you can help corral House. Ecks isn't that great at it.
She's not on board with Cas punching Sciencedad. :C I'm hopeful, though, that traveling with Cas for a bit before meeting up with House will acclimate her to him and she'll take it better than she would from a complete stranger.
Meanwhile I hate to say it but to preserve their CR might need to provoke some circumstances to push it back into at least neutral territory. Frisk won't ever hate him but they've been bitten enough times at this point they're close to the point of backing off entirely.
Unless House wants more Pyrrhic victories in driving off anybody who cares about him and sees any good in him d(;-;d)
House is always about Pyrrhic victories, but he is somewhat humbled after getting a little girl (see: Ecks) killed because of his mouth. Which is why he backed down from Alfie... to an extent. The meds he's taken are also going to help to stabilize his mood a little bit, if not fully. I'm down for keeping an eye out for circumstances that might put House and Frisk back into neutral territory. He's just not going to go out of his way for it, unfortunately.
Yeah, I figured we'd have to... I hesitate to say contrive because that implies more forcing things than I'd like, but certainly it'd be something that'd have to be tweaked/organized by us, since the chances of it happening on its own are unlikely
One of the events may offer a good chance for it. Or just any circumstance where they're in physical proximity. House is heading east in the nearish team along with Ecks and Castiel, so maybe they can run into Frisk?
