About them: Ecks is a flesh golem from basically a darkmode version of a D&D world. She's a bit over two years old and has learned a lot during her time in Norfinbury. She's still very literal-minded and tends to fixate on things, but she's learning more and more how to relate to others. She adopted House as her stand-in father figure months ago and has struggled with his general...House...ness; recently the two of them were murdered together by the Joker when House picked a fight. She's starting to be more open about the world from which she came and her "family" back home.
Current plans: Ecks is currently traveling with Castiel with the intention to meet up with House and explore the new area, though she's also got a bee in her bonnet about Alfie stealing House's harmonica and I'm not entirely sure whether she'll try to do anything about it. She's not really interested in seeking out the Joker for revenge on him, though -- she hasn't talked about it since she died but she's a good bit afraid of him now.
Desired CR: Ecks's sentimental item from the Lavender's Green event was her creator's project notebook regarding her creation, and I'd really like a chance to play with her exploring what it says about her since it includes some things she didn't previously know. I'd also be interested in someone else getting ahold of it and reading it. I'm also, as ever, open to exploring more negative CR -- Ecks typically fails to understand all but the most childish and blatant of insults (Lutha can sneer at her and call her "golem" all day long without bothering her; it's an accurate descriptor).
Not looking for: Not really looking to get her killed again. Other info:
SO I MENTIONED IT ON PLURK BEFORE but it bears reiterating that I'm really interested in seeing where Ecks and Castiel's CR goes in part because Supernatural's golems follow your traditional Jewish lore really closely (a man of clay constructed by a Rabbi and animated by a divine spark to serve as a defender of the Jewish People) and also because Supernatural's angels hew pretty close to that too (they just happen to have been constructed out of some celestial nonsense by Abrahamic God Himself to serve as defenders of everything most things).
Obviously Ecks is pretty different from all of that, but the point is Castiel has a generally very positive impression of golems going into things and will probably sympathize with her a lot when it comes to questions of how to handle autonomy and moral ambiguity and other similar things. Plus he'd definitely be interested in hearing about how she was made, if that was something she was comfortable talking about.
He's coming at a good time in terms of her being willing to talk openly about how she was made. One of the thing covered in her creator's case notes is the revelation that she has a soul, and she's going to be pretty psyched about that when she reads it (right now I'm going to assume she hasn't found the time/gumption since there are a couple big discoveries in there and I haven't addressed it at all yet). She might be wary of him, specifically, at first, because angels = servants of gods = probably dangerous, but I think they have a good shot at getting beyond that.
About them: Stephen is a former neurosurgeon turned sorcerer turned snowbo. He's very self-involved and arrogant, but he can also be quite noble and self sacrificing when the wellbeing of others is threatened. Also, the cloak he wears is an animate, sentient relic that tends to get overprotective of him. Lately he is kind of a mess; he was already suffering from PTSD due to events from canon and has been sleeping very little since his arrival in Norfinbury some IC weeks ago. A few IC days ago he allowed himself to be killed by an anomaly in order to avoid losing Norfinbury's one microscope and in the hopes that the revival process would heal the nerve damage in his hands. He was not healed and he is having a hard time dealing with that. Also, he has been saddled with a death price that renders him unable to recognize people by either names or appearances.
Current plans: Stephen is meeting up with Claire in order to be with someone he trusts while his death price is in effect; prior to dying he'd meant to stash the microscope somewhere in Res 2 and then make his way to the Industrial Zone to explore. He did drop the microscope off (...I do need to add it to the player-updated item list in one of the houses he's visited), but explorations are on hold for the moment. He's liable to be quieter than usual on the network, as he's trying to avoid tipping anyone off that he'd be an easy mark right now. I do have vague plans for him to offer guided meditation recordings on the network to try to improve everyone's mental health in general; I may time that to go up soon after his death price wears off (date undecided as yet), as his relatively low network activity and inability to make much sense out of reading over network backlogs will mean he has a lot of time on his hands for making those recordings offline.
Desired CR: I'm having fun with Stephen dancing around his inability to recognize anyone and I'd be super into him dealing with more problems from that while it lasts. Beyond that I'm still up for just seeing how things develop naturally.
Not looking for: I should probably wait a while before killing Stephen again, too. Other info:
