    We can definitely talk. I mean, you'll need to explain your traditions to me. If we were getting married by my religion, it would be a lot simpler. Just a minister to perform the ceremony in front of some friends, and then maybe a really nice beach party around a bonfire, or something like that. You know, the whole nature worship thing.

    That does have the appeal of brevity.

    One of the differences I've noticed between the south and my people is that we do not give vows to one another. We are there to promise the Maker we will be good spouses.
