Network Prompts
ONE: TIME TO CHECK WEBMD You've found the pharmacy, which is really convenient, since you're not feeling that great. Actually, you're feeling terrible. Maybe you have a fever, maybe you're coughing up blood, maybe you're vomiting... Whatever it is, you should probably try to get some medicine for it. Well, if you can figure out what it is. Maybe someone on the network can help you out? Alternately, you know exactly what you have--but for whatever reason, the medicine here isn't something you can easily understand. You have to choose between a couple of options, and you don't know the difference. Hopefully someone on the network can tell you which will heal you and which will probably kill you.
TWO: NOT SO HELPFUL AVATARS Every tablet has the option for a customizable avatar that will talk to you and keep your tablet in order. Maybe you set it up, maybe you never checked it. Either way, it keeps popping up unrequested and being sort of... Odd. Flickering, talking in strange, mechanical voices, offering advice that's unhelpful at best and actively harmful at worst... Maybe it's even telling the entire network some things you've been doing you'd rather everyone didn't know.
Time to call tech support. Unfortunately, the best option is other people on the network. Good luck.
Action Prompts
THREE: SCHOOL DAYS You've ended up in the elementary school. Maybe you're grabbing more food, maybe you're exploring. Either way, this place is creepy; the atmosphere is the sort that gets the hair on the back of your neck rising (potentially metaphorically, if you don't have hair or a neck). It's not long before strange things start happening. The sound of running and screaming children, doors slamming in far off or nearby hallways, pianos playing... What's going on? It's hard to tell what's really happening from what isn't happening. Maybe someone who's also exploring has some idea.
FOUR: SUPPLY SCRAMBLE You've just walked into a house, and look, there's fresh fruit sitting right out on the counter! How long has it been since you've had some of that? It'll definitely help provide some much-needed vitamins and maybe it will ward off scurvy and the like. There's even more than one piece!
...And there's more than one person here, too. So, what are you going to do? Are you willing to share, or are you prepared to stab someone over a pear? Time to find out just how badly you want that food.

strums guitar. i can tell that we are gonna b frands
Yeah?
[ There's another blood-curdling scream. It fills the room despite coming from outside, almost as if it's trying to cut her off, but it's not what she's focused on. Instead, her eyes follow his hand as he stows his weapon, tense and wary as a stray. Good faith is something she ran dry on a long time ago; she's not about to do the same. ]
Maybe your ears don't work so well. [ She gestures to the door he just came through with a jut of her chin, shifting her grip on the club at her side. A gun would make this so much easier, but the holster belted to her hip is empty. It makes for less leverage on her side, and more risk. Jane knows it, and is hoping he doesn't. ]
I said 'leave'.
HERE WE GO AGAIN
As her eyes scan over him, the seemingly genuine smile on his face begins to crack a bit, widening into a slightly more sickly grin. Since his arrival, he really hasn't had much opportunity to properly fuck with people and oh, he can tell already that Jane isn't going to disappoint. She's observant, this one.
Ramsay, unsurprisingly, doesn't back out. Oh no, he's going to take a couple of steps forward. He's pretending to be cautious, unsure, approaching Jane in a nonthreatening manner.]
Oh come now. There's no need for such hostility. I do believe it's possible for us to share whatever undoubtedly worthless scraps we find in this rat infested fortress!
:^)
Unfortunately, he's not striking her as stupid.
Jane steps around a lineup of stoves to invade some of the space between them before he can, arms crossing stiffly. Her face isn't giving anything but irritation away, though she does briefly raise an eyebrow at his way of speaking. She's weighing her options now, which don't include palling up with bright eyes here. God damnit. If she had just been faster, less distracted by all the noises, she could have made it to the walk-in and out of here. ]
Not interested. [ She keeps it short, as unengaging of a rejection possible, but the rest of her is doing plenty of talking. Now that she's out in full view, the knife strapped to her thigh is visible, and it's no coincidence she crossed her arms with the arm gripping her makeshift club on top. ]
no subject
Ramsay supposes this saves him the trouble of building any sort of faux trust, here. As fun as that can be given the right subject, he's hardly the patience to play nice with such an apparently sour individual! Nothing like getting straight to the point.
Instead of frowning at her rejection, Ramsay's grin only broadens. And somehow, just with that slight twitch in his facial expression, it becomes apparent that he's decided to take off all airs. Shit just went from zero to real in about half a second.
Similarly, when Jane flashes her weapons, it doesn't seem to deter him either. Ramsay's widened gaze momentarily drops to inspect them then shifts right back to making unblinking eye contact with the woman. Somehow, this new little twist of events only seems to delight him more.]
How disappointing.
[Yeah, no. He doesn't sound disappointed. Time to re-draw his own makeshift blade once again.]
Although, if I'm brutally honest with you, I've never been very good at sharing. You've saved me an incredible amount of discomfort.
[As if to emphasize his point, he abruptly kicks a stray pan on the floor, trying to startle her. Of course he could go straight for the kill but Ramsay's more the type to play with his food before he eats it. So.]
