High metabolism needs a lot of protein, and big blocks of carbs. I'm getting all the wrong kinds of food here, and burning it off way too fast.

But I'm relieved. That I didn't rob you, I mean, I'm not relieved that you're starving. That's not good.

Yeah, but there are better places to go for food, I think I just gotta try and make getting to them a priority.

And in the meantime, I'll live, it just sorta sucks. But I'm glad that you enjoyed the sugar. It's great for a short term boost, just have to be careful not to run on it constantly.

If I could get to the grocery store, I bet I could actually cook. Or at least make good stuff. High protein, high carbs, stuff that will travel. That and a fire. My two big goals.

Well, food and fire sounds heavenly, so maybe it's the right thing to combat the hell part, who knows.

I mean, cooking only for yourself is always a little boring, don't you think?

I'd be totally happy to cook for anyone who wants it. Cooking for myself is just bachelor survival. But cooking for other people is bonding, you know? Taking care of people.

And that feels like it's really fucking hard to do, in this place. So it'd be a goal, something that would make it worth crawling out of my corner every morning.
