Is Ginger good at makeup and hairstyling in addition to clothing design? If she is, how did she learn to do those things?

She is! She's not as good at makeup or hairstyling as she is at sewing--mostly, she's mastered her general routines for both. She's not professional artist level for either, but she knows enough about colors and tricks that she could make anyone else look nice if they wanted her help. Back home, one of her classmates in high school (and basically all school, because her home town is so small that they have a kind of higurashi-style communal elementary-middle school) was super interested in makeup and hair styling, and would practice on her and share tips and secrets. Her name's Blythe, and she actually runs their local salon.

These two cute girls and their small businesses. They're not really friends anymore, but they're friendly enough to each other and aren't shy about visiting each other for their work and services.
