I'm Psi and I play Joker here and chaos (
I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately, it's just due to me being busy not due to lack of interest in this wonderful game.
Snowblind is probably one of the best games I've ever been part of in my near decade at this hobby and you are all amazing.
I need to step out for a while for some family and errand things but I'll be back this evening to tag folks.
no subject
We haven't gotten to thread too much, but that hasn't kept me from stalking the Joker and some of your Chaos threads. I absolutely love your approach to the Joker, he is absolutely his insane self, but it's also fascinating how you layer in more to him than that.
Using the parts of his canon personality to have him provide a different perspective here in Snowhell, while still keeping him creepy and unsettling. The story you've woven and continue to weave for him is fun and exciting to see play out.
Also the times we have chatted and planned OOC, you've been lovely and creative with ideas, thank you for that as well!!
no subject
On a slightly more selfish side I hope that Flynn helping out Harley might lead to some interaction between these two in the future because I would genuinely love to thread more with your guys!

Also, seconding appreciation for Joker's character development! Villains are rough. Evolving villains are rougher. You've done such a great job handling him in his time here.
no subject
I absolutely admire yours. (I might have read some of the older plotty stuff, the fake bomb comes to mind in particular, and that's just genius). It's such a challenge to play a villain in most settings, especially one that doesn't have much in the way of "normalcy", but your portrayal is just so seamless and entertaining and I can really hear the voice (and the insanity) coming out of Joker's tags. I think you're doing amazing with the setting and I can't wait to see more!
no subject
Also the fact that you manage to play the Joker and balance his inherently unpredictable nature with keeping his motivations and character coherent is a truly impressive feat and I really need to tag him one of these days.

Lae
Lae here and I play Will Graham. I have been overwhelmed, and genuinely thankful for the warm welcome I received in bringing this problematic character from an extremely challenging canon here.
The playerbase of SnowBlind is one of the most creative, cooperative, and fun group of people I have had the pleasure of writing with over my long stint in this hobby. I will be hopelessly flailing at many of you, but I also wanted to shout out collectively how humbled I am at everybody's support.
Also our mods. What an incredible team of creative, detail oriented, supportive and humorous people. From the gag tags they share, to the work they have put into the mechanics of this game, as well as the story telling. Combine that with their flexibility in crafting their story alongside the input and activities of their players and that is no easy feat. My hat's off to each and everyone of you.
Finally the humor I've found here with everybody. Snowblind is ICly incredibly difficult and often dark/angst driven for our characters, but finding an OOC atmosphere where laughter and a shared sense of humor is prevalent across the group has been a genuine pleasure. I want to thank everybody for that!!!

Quark's grandpaJunpei, so I haven't had the chance to write with all of you, yet, but it's definitely been fun so far!no subject
I am so sorry that poor Junpei got dumped in the deep end when it came to meeting Will. But that said, wow did you hit the ground running and never appeared to miss a stride!
It was wonderful getting to thread with you and Junpei, thank you for being so flexible and also willing to participate in everything we threw at you.

I wanted to stop by and say thank you for offering me such a warm welcome, both OOCly and ICly when I joined the game. Enoch is so heartbreaking, but also so sweet in his helpfulness that Will always feels bad when he can't help Enoch in return.
You have been great with your support OOCly and I sincerely appreciate the effort you made in the beginning and also the insight you offer on the game events and character development. You'd attention to detail with Enoch shows through in your thought process as well as your tags, and it's a learning experience to get to watch you think things through and build on them.
Thank you for all that you share and do both in game and also OOCly.

At the moment I'm only playing this guy here, Squalo. I've only been around for a little bit but I'm extremely Impressed by the overall quality of this place - mods, players, writing, characters, everything. I'm really glad I got over my fear of joining even though it's nearing the end :'D
I'm having a bit of a "why aren't there 48 hours in a day and why do I need sleep" period currently, but I hope I'm still providing entertainment!
Much love etc etc.

But there's 72 hours in a day, here.I've told you countless times how much I've forgotten everything about KHR, so I can't speak for accuracy, but you're definitely entertaining!
If I can ever manage to revive any of those muses, I'll

I just want to thank all of you so much for this amazing opportunity. I know my activity can be a bit of a roller coaster ride, but I've never had anything but love for this game and all of the people in it regardless of what my tagging schedule looks like. Being able to mod a game with an incredibly fun and supportive group of people has been an experience I wouldn't trade for anything. I can't tell you how much it means to me to see you all enjoy everything that I personally put forward with my role on the mod team--and thank you so, so much for always being patient!
I hope ya'll know you're basically all stuck with me.

I really can't properly express my ridiculous handflapping in your direction, but I'll do what I can. Your characters are a delight. Each one has such a unique voice and I know that is not always easy to do when you have multiples in the same game, but there is such distinction between Ginger, to Quark and from what I have seen of Nathan.
What is universal across all three has been your generosity not only with your character's participation in threads, but in writing all manner of emotional storylines. You are so quick to pick up on what your thread partner tosses out there, build it and toss it back.
I would never have anticipated Will's CR with Ginger and the way it can swing from teasing and flirty, to sweet and sad, and back. Quark was ... omg I wanted to hug him, but at the same time the thread showed what a strong and capable character he is as well.
Nathan ... I needed the laugh I got from all the OOC planning for Nathan to pee down in the pit. Will might not be the same fit for Nathan that he is for Ginger and Quark, but that's alright, I can't monopolize all your time, and it's just a treat to get to read his threads!
Finally, thank you for your time and effort in modding and helping with the game. I cannot thank you guys enough for all you do and all you bring to the table, but please believe me when I say I appreciate it.

I just wanted to scoot in here real quick and thank you again for the threads we've had together. I don't know the canon but I love your Magenta. Just when I think I know how a thread is going to go, things skew off in an entirely new direction and every time has been a delight.
Thank you for sharing him with me and also for being so open and communicative OOCly.

I'll be here with my boy Flynn (
Just coming from the experience that my last game was ages ago (like, lj to dreamwidth move ages ago) and I was a meme and PSL lurker for years but boy am I glad I joined this horror snow train. I don't even have time for memes anymore because all of you are so engaging and amazing and open to even the most obscure characters. The mods are incredible in their creativity and thoroughness, patience and effort they put in this game. That of course interplays with the second awesome point which is the players being so engaged and in love with this game, I am having so much fun with all the OOC musing and theorizing and "but WHAT IF MAYBE WE COULD/IT MEANS THAT/SHOULD WE JUST BLEED ON IT"s and, just, wow.
I am having such a good time with all of you, honestly. I love everyone in this bar. Plotting is a blast, dumb plurk shenanigans are a blast, and I am stalking SO many threads I'm not even involved in (and I know others do, too) because this game is so tightly knit and you just have to know what's going on with everybody else and all of you are such amazing writers. Honestly, this is one of my best rp experiences (and I'm counting years of tabletop, different online sites and larping here) I have ever had.
You guys just rock. <3

And you listen to me, because I've been RPing for a llama's years, like literally since 2007 oh my god I am so old. And in all this time I have been in maybe ONE game that was as amazing as this weird ass snowtown. Like you guys do not even understand how exceptional what we have here is, with the combination of terrific writers writing real standout characters, and the intricate plot that keeps us on our toes not to mention on our knees crying, and the mods always on top of all the shit even when there is so much, and. The complex relationships and sense of community I CANNOT DESCRIBE how rare and special that is. I am so blessed to be here with all of you nerds and your condom auctions and spider dicks and peeing into the horrorterror pit. Just. Thank you for this joy of my life game. I love you all so much.
Okay I'm done come yell at me about what a goddamn slow tagger I am.

Thank you, for not only providing us with a fun and fascinating character in Beckett, but for being such a lovely and supportive person OOCly as well. I cannot thank you enough for everything you contributed with the seance plot, from kicking off the IC idea to all the OOC encouragement and support.
I am so looking forward to getting to do more writing with you and Beckett coming up, getting to enjoy more of Beckett's dry humor as well as the creative inspirations. Also you're OOC sense of humor, often has me in stitches, which is something I have needed with the recent RL stress, so thank you for being a fun person as well as an incredibly creative writer.

Indy here with Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord AKA Sunpaw and Mycroft "I make good decisions" Holmes, I've been RPing on and off since 05 from the LJ days, took a long break and discovered it again a few years ago and came to dreamwidth in 2016, and this has been hands-down one of the best, most exciting, amazing, and welcoming RP experiences I've ever had. You all were so welcoming when I first joined, have been an absolute joy to plot with and get to know, and your characters and writing are BRILLIANT. I try to keep up with other threads because I really can't get enough of everyone's characters. They're all SO GOOD I have insufficient words to describe how amazing you all are as writers. Please accept INCREDIBLY TALENTED X100000000000000000 + INFINITY + ONE.
And this game. OMG THIS GAME I LOVE IT. Everything about it is fantastic, I love how there are real, actual consequences that happen to our characters that last, how people's decisions affects things and how there's a perfect mix of horror and hope. I've never joined a game like this before and it has blown me away. I'm so excited every time an event comes around, you have no idea.
Just thank you, from the bottom of my heart, everyone, for this awesome experience.

just ask Flynn.I stared at this game for so long, wanting to send Wilson here, and when I finally took the plunge, it was the best RP decision I've made in a long time. I can't wait to come off hiatus and get back into the swing of things again, because this game is great and so are all of its players! ♥

I know we haven't had the opportunity to thread much, but I wanted to let you know that
stalkingreading your threads with both Wilson and Nicole is one of my past times. I don't know Nicole as well as I do Wilson, but the Nicole/Flynn threads you and LP have put down are fascinating reads.Wilson, for what it's worth I love your voice for Wilson. I love that you have captured his nuances, his compassion and his warmth, but also his snark and his struggles. You bring wonderful hooks and input in his tags and it's always been fun and interesting to thread with you.
OOCly, thank you for your humor and creative input. I hope your hiatus is treating you well and we'll see you back soon!!

Also, I completely suck at love memes but okay I'm doing it anyway because everyone here is amazing and I have no idea why you all put up with me. But I'm glad you do. Not just how great everyone is OOCly but ICly, too. I try not to do too much thread-stalking because I don't like to get myself mixed up with IC/OOC knowledge, but I find myself reading anyway just because.
So, yes. Happy to be here and looking forward to all the future CR that I'm looking forward to, because I know I have a lot that I want to do with people, no matter how long it takes me to get to it.

Snowblind is the first true horror game I've ever played in and I absolutely love it to bits. The puzzles, plot, and character interactions have been an insane and exciting ride. I sometimes feel like a moron not getting some of the puzzles (and god knows I've been on the mod side kind of facepalming at the players), but there are so many clever people here and I feel like, as a group, we're absolutely a lot of clever clogs who've managed to bull through what's been thrown at us. Props to the mods on that front, as well, for taking player suggestions for how to improve things.
And on the CR side, I've adored all of the CR I've accumulated for both my guys here, the positive and negative alike. Maybe especially the negative because this is a game where that kind of interaction is welcome. The communication between players is outstanding and I've always felt bolstered by fellow players to do mad things and tried to support others who want to run with their own schemes. Because some of those things? They wind up being some of the most memorable threads. Vicodingate will live on in my heart forever.
Alex - I would honestly never have guessed House and Steph would be where they are today. That's just... that CR blossoming how it has is beyond fantastic. Your tags are always easy to respond to and you have so much dedication putting together Steph's guides ICly and helping people out OOCly.
Amanda - OMG, I love Harley to bits and I love your interpretation of her. Her back-and-forth relationship with the Joker feels true to canon and I stalk your threads, in general, just because you have her voice down pat and she's so much fun to read.
Amy - Sylar was, I admit, one of my fav Heroes characters along with HRG. What you've done with Sylar in the game has been fantastic to watch. He's still Sylar, but I've loved watching him evolve and grow to the place he is through the hardship he's had to face. His CR with John is some of my fav in that direction, too. Mostly with John softening toward him as Sylar moves down the 'potential threat' list.
Banah - We need to get back to threading more, but I'm loved all of my CR with your characters. Jim and Zell are also my OTP of Snowhell, so props to you and Pan for that. They're adorable and unexpected and unexpectedly adorable. You really help drive along the metaplot with your group and I really enjoy seeing what you guys come up with to solve the puzzle around here.
Bizzy - I know you're super busy (hah), but all of our threads are a joy. You have Mary's voice down so well and how you play out the conflict between her current and past self is so much fun to watch. I also adored Kid when you had him here and he will live on in our hearts. His CR with John was heartbreaking and it left and indelible mark on him.
Britt - SO WE HAVEN'T THREADED, BUT... I've been stalking your threads because of House's Quark CR, and you seem to have Dio's jerkassery down well. I can 'hear' his voice in the tags and I look forward to seeing more of him around.
Cee - England and John break my heart! I've really enjoyed having them come together as proper colleagues and friends from the more awkward 'you are my citizen/please this is weird' thing they had at the start. You're also super responsive as a mod, which I really appreciate. Thank you so much for putting up with me!
Cherry - Every time House hurts Enoch I honestly cringe because I feel so BAD for him. Like, I just want to take Enoch, gather him in my arms, and tell the rest of the world to go screw itself. You've done an amazing job deconstructing this poor man, and I look forward to seeing how you pull the pieces back together again.
Danielle - Your grasp of such varied voices for your characters is OUTSTANDING. I've said it before, but it bears repeating. The Quark and House CR is some of my absolute favorite in the game and across any game I've played in. They just work impossibly well together and while they don't talk overly much, Quark isn't usually too far from House's mind. Also, the way House can't properly admit that he really cares about Quark is tragic and I love it. ALSO ALSO, GINGER IS PERFECT AND I HATE/LOVE YOU FOR PUTTING HER HERE. She's too good for Snowhell. Also also also... I love your items sheets.
Dem - Oh, my god, I'm completely canonblind, but Squalo is hilarious and fun. The absolutely ridiculous CR we've had so far has been an absolute delight and I look forward to the mischief Squalo's going to keep getting up to. I stalk your threads for the sheer insanity of this man. You go all in with him, and that's something that you get ALL the props for, man.
Flurry - So, when we started this wild ride, I expected both of my characters to have negative CR with Royce forever. I never expected John and Royce would end up close to the point that he'd trust Royce with one of the biggest secrets from canon. I've loved the ups and downs of their relationship and watching it grow slowly over time. This kind of slow-burn CR really is what I live for. Also, I love the general progression of animosity with House and everything that went on from the Elfagorn jokes to the murder.
Fossil - I love you. Best castmate. I'm not the one to blame for getting you into Sherlock, you did that to yourself!
All that said... Bucky/John and the the grudging respect between Sherlock and House are is some of the best CR to come out of this game for me. Also Al hating John. That will never NOT be hilarious.
Iddy - So, I literally never expected John and Alfie to get along. I really thought it would be House and Alfie as kind of vitriolic buddies. WOW WAS I WRONG. And I've never been happier to be. The progression in the relationships there has been, again, a slow-burn and fantastic thing to watch. John and Alfie's ups and downs are particularly enjoyable and House having someone that he unequivocally hates, but will work with in spite of that is fun for me on a narrative level.
Indy - Yet another amazing castmate! I can't believe I've been so blessed. Particularly when I've found in memes that Mycrofts are so incredibly hit-or-miss. You've hit him out of the park, and I can't thank you enough for being willing to run with Myc's flaws and play out the consequences of them, like the rift that's gone up between John and Myc. That and the whole THING now with House is so much fun. Also, your Peter is spot-on ridiculous and tragic. He's so much fun to bounce House off of between how easy to rile he is and how gullible. I feel bad for the guy sometimes, but I can't help wanting to have House continue poking.
Jax - I'm so glad you came back to the game! I was missing my snarkpire so much while you were gone. And I have to say, the development in House and Beckett's relationship is, again, some of my favorite CR in the game. Their intellectual clashes are incredibly fun to think about and write and a part of me REALLY HOPES Beckett is right about the Norfinbury entity so that he can shove it in House's face.
Jodie - We don't get to thread nearly enough, but the threads I have had with Zack have been really enjoyable. I'm generally canonblind for him (I played FF7, but that was eons ago), but his voice is consistent and he's just a fun and silly guy to poke at. I really love his bromance with Kunsel and the shonen hero approach he has to everything in spite of being stuck in Snowhell so long.
Kathryn - BUT WHY ARE ALL YOUR OCS SO AMAZING? Honestly, I've adored them all that I've seen, but my heart goes out to Ecks, in particular. That CR was unexpectedly amazing. I've loved watching her grow, watching so many influences shape her into the little murdergolem she is today. Stephen has also been a delightful addition to the cast and I can't thank you enough for letting me run with crashing and burning their CR because the fallout from that has been amazing and I'm looking forward to wherever the hell it goes from here.
Kelly - I didn't think we'd get another Wilson, but I'm so delighted we did. I've enjoyed all of the threads we've had together, both House and Wilson and John and Wilson. John getting to yell at poor Wilson for being an enabler was unexpected and rather fun. Poor Wilson. Yes, but you have his voice and his nuances down well and I really look forward to getting the guys back together when you have the time.
Kitty - Hannibal is one of the most complex and challenging characters I can imagine playing. Particularly in a game where he doesn't have his usual control to manage events and people as he pleases. I've been really impressed with how you've been handling him and thoroughly enjoyed the interactions he's had with both House and John. It will never cease to amuse me that John thinks it's Hannibal who might need more protecting than Will.
Lae - Talk about jumping in head-first. I've been so impressed with how you've hit the ground running here, to say nothing of how much I adore our CR. Will and House just work together, and it's been so much fun in the relatively short amount of time these two have known each other to see how much they've grown. Will is a friend, even if they don't use the F-word, and House is both terrified of that and grateful, particularly given that he's still dealing with being afraid of his bestie after fake torture tower memories with him. Also, you're a hell of a lot of fun to plot with OOCly. I love your ideas and appreciate you supporting my madness.
Louise - Jeez, Louise! Angel's been so much fun to bounce House off of, ever since you joined the game. As I said above, Vicodingate will live forever in my heart. The development to grudging tolerance and some level of respect between House and Angel has been a lot of fun. I really enjoy just reading Angel's threads, too, because she's incredibly cute. Your enthusiasm OOCly is also fantastic, as if your willingness to roll with the consequences of various actions.
LP - Flynn is another one that I CRINGE when House hurts. He's such a sweet thing, and I absolutely adore him, even while being canonblind. I'm so glad you've been willing to roll with the ups and downs of House and Flynn's relationship because I've enjoyed all of the positive and the negative. To say nothing of the CR with Flynn and Watson. Flynn has the distinction of knowing more about John than probably anyone else outside his castmates. I really am looking forward to how things go from where they are. John respects Flynn and I respect how bright and excited you always seem to be OOC. It makes plotting with you so much fun.
Maddin - I honestly would never have expected a virtually non-verbal character to last and become such a fixture. My hat is off to you. Brian is an amazing character and you've brought so much depth to him through his time in Snowhell. I'm truly impressed and always looking out for Brian's posts and what he's getting up to.
Mel - Another most excellent mod. You gagtags are hilarious and you are hella dedicated when it comes to managing the OOC aspects of the game, from the search requests to the NPCs. Thank you for putting up with all of the things that I come up with for House to do. I've also just enjoyed House and America's weird CR development. I really didn't expect House to trust anyone implicitly with some things, but America really does fall into that category. About the only thing he doesn't trust the guy with is experiments that involve House probably getting himself killed. <<
(2/2)
Mis - Another excellent OC. I'm really enjoying how you're handling Rhys dealing not only with the loss of his abilities, but also the general beatdown that Snowhell has been doling out to him. He's in a rough place and how you're dealing with it from a narrative perspective really makes me feel for the guy. I just want him to feel better and pet him. I've really enjoyed the roller coaster of his and House's CR, in particular. It's a wild and often terrible ride.
Nivi - You're an awesomely meticulous person and puzzle-solver. I've been so impressed with your group's work puzzle-solving in a lot of the new areas, and I tip my hat to you all. You've also brought a real life to Kunsel. I'm not canon familiar with him, so I don't know how much of that was there in the original game, but you've really made him a character unto his own. And I enjoy reading what he's up to and threading with him when we have the opportunity.
Omega - Junpei's been an absolute delight! The only things House knew about him were by way of Quark and even then, he didn't get the best impression. I'm only sort of canon familiar, but Jumpy's been super fun so far and you seem really enthusiastic OOC, which makes it fantastic to plot and play with. I also really appreciate you're willing to play around with your clever character being wrong re: things like Will. It just makes for a much more interesting time!
Ophelia - I have not gotten to tag with you, yet! But I have stalked some of your threads and feel like you have Gamora's temperament and voice down really well. I've enjoyed watching her clashes on the network with other characters, along with the pain that is her relationship with Peter here in Snowhell.
Pan - You are so enthusiastic and positive and it's infectious! Whenever I see a tag from Zell or Vanitas, I get jazzed up for a fun thread. As I mentioned to Banah, Jim and Zell are my OTP for Snowhell, and as for Vanitas, I absolutely love what you're doing with his development. I only made it to KH2, so I'm not super familiar with his character, but his voice is consistent and I really enjoy watching him struggle with Positive Emotion and Friends.
Psi - Your range of character voices is fantastically amazing. I'm always so impressed that you can do Joker, Haurche, and chaos. And it's not just a breadth, it's a depth of characterization, too. It's fantastic getting to play against you because I know the thread is always going to go interesting places. I really appreciate how flexible you are OOC, as well. Playing a character like the Joker is really tough, but you pull it off well and are so accommodating to other players. Thank you for traumatizing my doctors with your clown. It's been a hell of a ride.
QV - Like Fossil, there's so much that's already been said. I adore playing with you, years on, and consistently have fun in all of our threads across different characters. I'll focus on Cas here for a minute, though, and say I love what you're doing with his development and how much he's struggling with his basic programming. The glimpses we've gotten of Jimmy have been both informative and incredibly heartbreaking because you make it so I want to root for both of them to be in charge at the same time... even though that's just not possible. I want to thread with you more, really. I feel like Cas still needs to get in that punch that House had coming for pretending to be the devil.
Xep - OMG KITTY. I wasn't sure how House would interact with Blue when I tagged you, but I've absolutely loved how he's somehow become her number one enemy in Snowhell. Trolling her is so much fun and you do the fish-out-of-water so well for her trying to interact with the human environment. She's interesting, she's fun, and I stalk your threads to see what she's getting up to.
Zae - Ah, noodle friendo. You and our previous Fiona player are pretty much the reason I got into watching Tales and then an LP of one of the Borderlands. I love how you're not afraid to play with Rhys' MAJOR flaws as a character and not just woobify him like it seems some of the fandom that I've seen does. You're fun to thread with, whipping from super silly to super serious and back again, like his canon. You're true to the source material and just plain entertaining as a writer.
