ONE: IT WON'T BE LONG NOW... Well, you made a mistake. You spent too long searching around, or you ran outside near the end of the day for just one more thing, and now you've been locked out. You can search around all you want, but the best shelter you can hope for is pressing against the side of a sealed up building. You do still have your tablet, though. Maybe someone on the network can give you some advice, or at least some comfort while you wait for hypothermia to set in.
TWO: CABIN FEVER Maybe you didn't want that mistake of getting caught outside to happen again, but now you've ended up staying too long in one location, and cabin fever has set in. Maybe you're taking to the network to try and ignore the hallucinations. Maybe you want to tell everyone that you've figured out they're all in on your kidnapping. Maybe you ended up wandering off and now you'd really like to know if anyone can check back in the place you were at for your pants.

THREE: AN UNEXPECTED MEETING You're going about your business searching what seems like it might be an especially promising house--it's fully intact and there's even a working fireplace with some wood! It looks like someone else has the same idea, though, and you've run into them in the middle of your search. Do you share the potential wealth or try to kick them out? On the other hand, maybe you know who this is, or maybe you're just glad to actually see another person for the first time in ages.
FOUR: GOOD MORGUE-NING You've just woken up in a morgue after dying in one unfortunate way or another. You have no idea where you are beyond that, but your tablet is insisting you can't stay here, so you should probably get out of here pretty quickly. Of course, bringing people back from the dead isn't a perfect science, so you're missing something important to you. Maybe you've lost your voice, maybe you can't remember where you're from, maybe you can't remember where you are right now. It looks like someone else is nearby, though. Maybe they can help you out?
[The moment he sees that face, panic and guilt well up in equal amounts, his face twists slightly - and he closes his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again, mouth working a little.
Johan. Of all the faces he wanted to see least, it has to be that one. After all, he'd just watched him be shot in the head. This pretty monster, with his empty smiles, inhuman. His hand moves instinctively to the back of his jeans, where his gun is tucked into his belt, but despite the sense of unreality, in this house, in this world, even in the world he came from, with its darkness and pouring rain and precious souls standing vulnerable in the presence of a monster, he knows that he's just looking at a little computer of some sort.
His brows furrow.]
Johan. No...I don't need a doctor. I'm just fine.
[It's a lie. His heart beats too hard, and his hand is shaking, making the tablet vibrate a little.]
[Johan meanwhile keeps up the calm look with a hint of dark amusement behind it. Tenma is able to see the darkness behind his eyes that others always miss.]
Are you? I find that hard to believe. Why, even your hands are shaking.
[He's not sure if it's another hallucination. They've all seemed so real, images and sounds, that voice, that face, here in a place where so many are vulnerable. Where he can only hope the lack of ties to Johan's own history will keep the people around them safe.
His mouth sets in a line, and he chooses to believe this one, dark eyes searching the background of Johan's video to try to find where he might be. To find him.]
[In the back of Johan's video is a simple house. Much like the rest found around here. He's obviously not been in it long which you can also tell by his own lack of hallucinations and the fact that there's snow still melting in his hair.]

[Can Johan even get tired. Well yes, yes he can but it takes a while and he hides it well if he needs to.]
[He never is. And he's giving little away - as always, Tenma is at a disadvantage. It's going to stop him as much as it ever had at home, which is to say not at all.]
Faring as well as ever?
[It's a tense conversation - off the feed, the hand not holding the device is clenching into a fist. The sight of Johan's face, it fills him with regret. Anger. Guilt. He's never been good at hiding it.]
A little cold but that's to be expected I suppose.
[Casual conversation what are you talking about. Who knows why. Maybe it's part of some new plan. Maybe he just likes poking at Tenma and seeing the reaction he gets. Or maybe he's checking in on him. It might even be all three.]
You might have to beat out the weather if you still plan to kill me.
[His eyes narrow slightly, and his lips press together tightly. The guilt twists in his gut like it does every time he sees this face - the bodies of the people he'd lost to Johan, even those he hardly knew, flashing in front of his face, bloody and broken on the ground. He has to bring his gaze back to the camera because he imagines he can see them out of the corners of his eyes.
