Network Prompts
ONE: IT WON'T BE LONG NOW... Well, you made a mistake. You spent too long searching around, or you ran outside near the end of the day for just one more thing, and now you've been locked out. You can search around all you want, but the best shelter you can hope for is pressing against the side of a sealed up building. You do still have your tablet, though. Maybe someone on the network can give you some advice, or at least some comfort while you wait for hypothermia to set in.
TWO: CABIN FEVER Maybe you didn't want that mistake of getting caught outside to happen again, but now you've ended up staying too long in one location, and cabin fever has set in. Maybe you're taking to the network to try and ignore the hallucinations. Maybe you want to tell everyone that you've figured out they're all in on your kidnapping. Maybe you ended up wandering off and now you'd really like to know if anyone can check back in the place you were at for your pants.
Action Prompts
THREE: AN UNEXPECTED MEETING You're going about your business searching what seems like it might be an especially promising house--it's fully intact and there's even a working fireplace with some wood! It looks like someone else has the same idea, though, and you've run into them in the middle of your search. Do you share the potential wealth or try to kick them out? On the other hand, maybe you know who this is, or maybe you're just glad to actually see another person for the first time in ages.
FOUR: GOOD MORGUE-NING You've just woken up in a morgue after dying in one unfortunate way or another. You have no idea where you are beyond that, but your tablet is insisting you can't stay here, so you should probably get out of here pretty quickly. Of course, bringing people back from the dead isn't a perfect science, so you're missing something important to you. Maybe you've lost your voice, maybe you can't remember where you're from, maybe you can't remember where you are right now. It looks like someone else is nearby, though. Maybe they can help you out?
[ Costumed jerk #1, meet costumed jerk #2, who's regarding the staff with some amusement. Rose hasn't bothered to be quiet while she walks around, growing more and more reckless by the minute, and finally it leads her here. ]
Come on. Really? A stick?
[ She knows what a staff is and how deadly Tim is with one, but it's no blade. ]
[ Oh god, and she has no idea who this one might be. Good guy? Bad guy? Morally ambiguous guy? She thought she'd left this kind of crap behind her in Gotham. She keeps the staff at the ready, turning so that she's always defending whatever angle Rose is at. ]
It worked for five assorted assassins. Pretty sure it'll work for you, too.
You haven't met one like me, sugar. [ but she shrugs, disinterested in fighting seriously, not when the cold is definitely reaching her bones and she has no food and water ] Ravager. Who're you?
[ She doesn't trust it, but then, she doesn't trust much these days. Harper's starting to grow on her, and her brother's pretty cool. Other than that? No way. ]
Spoiler. Never heard of you.
[ So she is still left wonder who exactly 'Ravager' is. ]
Red Robin? [ Okay, now she's really confused. And who the heck are the Titans, anyway? She hasn't heard any talk about Red Robin running a team, but then the Bats manage a lot of secrecy for all their theatrics. ]
I just met him, yesterday. [ Which is, incidentally, the last thing she remembers. ]
[ What is happen, why is happen, so confuse, much strange.
She pulls the mask down from her face, since they seem to be talking instead of fighting and it's just a lot easier without stuff on your face. She doesn't let go of the staff, though. ]
Nightwing is dead. And I'm pretty sure he's never been on a team with the Flash.
[ That doesn't really explain things any better, but she supposes Nightwing being dead is related somehow. That evil Justice League had been from an alternate universe, right? That was the word around the net, anyway. ]
Sure. I always like it better when people aren't trying to kill me.
I'm starting to think there's something in the water they're giving Gotham dads. [ Harper's dad is pretty awful too, she's heard. Steph had thought her dad was well enough... right up until he pointed a gun at her head. ]
Yeah, I just sort of found myself here. It can't be New Jersey, no snow in the forecast.
three!

[ But Spoiler's dead. Her expression shutters immediately to what the hell is going on here? ]
Spoiler from Gotham, right? Works with Robin?
no subject
From Gotham, yeah. I worked with Robin once, if you want to call it that. Just about every vigilante in town was there.

Titans? The Teen Titans? Go by Nightwing, Troia, Arsenal, Tempest, Flash?

Okay, so there's alternate universe shit going on here. Good to know. [ she breathes out ] All right. Can we at least agree to be on the same team?
no subject
Sure. I always like it better when people aren't trying to kill me.
no subject
[ But they do the same to her too, so she just shrugs again and approaches. ]
I'm Rose. I don't have a secret ID anyway.
no subject
Stephanie. My secret ID and I have a strained relationship ever since my dad broadcast it with the price on my head.
[ She offers her hand to shake. ]
no subject
[ Completely deadpan, as she shakes Steph's hand firmly. ]
Did you just get here too?
no subject
Yeah, I just sort of found myself here. It can't be New Jersey, no snow in the forecast.

[ She hums thoughtfully. ]
They might've brought us all here to kill each other.
no subject
Wow, Hunger Games much?
no subject
What's that?
[ She does not pop culture much. ]
no subject
It's a book. And we're not killing each other. There's no reason to. It's stupid.
no subject
[ She shakes her head. ]
When's the last time you ate?
no subject
[ It's Steph's first time, and she's still new to all of this. The weirdness will take adjusting. ]
Uh... [ That's a good question. ] Some time yesterday, I think?
