ONE: IT WON'T BE LONG NOW... Well, you made a mistake. You spent too long searching around, or you ran outside near the end of the day for just one more thing, and now you've been locked out. You can search around all you want, but the best shelter you can hope for is pressing against the side of a sealed up building. You do still have your tablet, though. Maybe someone on the network can give you some advice, or at least some comfort while you wait for hypothermia to set in.
TWO: CABIN FEVER Maybe you didn't want that mistake of getting caught outside to happen again, but now you've ended up staying too long in one location, and cabin fever has set in. Maybe you're taking to the network to try and ignore the hallucinations. Maybe you want to tell everyone that you've figured out they're all in on your kidnapping. Maybe you ended up wandering off and now you'd really like to know if anyone can check back in the place you were at for your pants.

THREE: AN UNEXPECTED MEETING You're going about your business searching what seems like it might be an especially promising house--it's fully intact and there's even a working fireplace with some wood! It looks like someone else has the same idea, though, and you've run into them in the middle of your search. Do you share the potential wealth or try to kick them out? On the other hand, maybe you know who this is, or maybe you're just glad to actually see another person for the first time in ages.
FOUR: GOOD MORGUE-NING You've just woken up in a morgue after dying in one unfortunate way or another. You have no idea where you are beyond that, but your tablet is insisting you can't stay here, so you should probably get out of here pretty quickly. Of course, bringing people back from the dead isn't a perfect science, so you're missing something important to you. Maybe you've lost your voice, maybe you can't remember where you're from, maybe you can't remember where you are right now. It looks like someone else is nearby, though. Maybe they can help you out?

[As she spoke, Yotsuba kept on rubbing her face on her coat and tried to breathe on her face in order to try and keep it warm. It felt like her nose was gonna fall off at any second though.]
It's-it's okay! Yotsuba can't either..but thank you! Yotsuba won't let you turn into a popsicle either! I'll help you make a fire if we can find some wood!
[Nevermind the fact that she didn't really know how to make a fire on her own. Or the fact that there probably wasn't any available wood around.]
I don't think we're going to be able to manage a fire, it's too wet with all the falling snow and the wind won't help either. But we can dig a shelter, and then we might be able to keep you warm until morning comes.
[No... not might. Will. He can't possibly watch a little kid die of the cold, his heart would break. God, he feels so helpless.]
Oh..okay then! Yotsuba doesn't know how to make a shelter, but I'll help! Yotsuba doesn't want you to freeze either, since you're a good person! How can we dig a shelter?!
[While she looked a little crestfallen there for a moment, since it was hard to warm up without a fire in this place, she quickly smiled and looked determined at the idea of building a shelter. She didn't quite know what that word meant, though she got the gist of it, but after singing that she was gonna help too, she wasn't going to just give up, and it wasn't like she enjoyed the constant wind, heavy snowfall, and the freezing temperatures. It felt like her ears were gonna pop off any minute now, and the only reason she wasn't scrambling to get down was because it was so cold. In comparison, her coat and Alphonse's loincloth felt a lot better.]
First we have to find out which way the wind is blowing, can you do that for me?
[He could do it himself. Not by feeling it, but by seeing the way his cut off ribbon blew and witnessing the snow falling. However, he thinks making her feel useful, and giving her something to think about besides the cold, will be helpful.]
[And so, with a weak smile, Yotsuba tried to climb up Alphonse's metal body so that she could get to his shoulders and sit on it. However, there were several problems with this idea. The first was that it was difficult to hold onto his loincloth while she was climbing. She nearly slipped off because her grip wasn't good enough until she tucked the whole thing under her chin.
The second problem was that Alphonse's body was freezing cold, and while she tried to deal with it, she couldn't stop herself from shivering heavily, her teeth occasionally clacking together.
If she managed to reach Alphonse's shoulders though, she'd hold an arm out-and wince at the way the wind and cold felt. It hurt, but it was the only way to see where the wind was blowing.]
[He had meant for her to merely hold a hand up from where she was, or even to observe things like the way the snow was blowing, he hadn't wanted her to climb around and get even colder.]
H-Hey! What are you doing? You'll fall if you climb up there, come back down again.
[Sadly, Yotsuba thought that she'd be able to accurately tell which was the wind was blowing if Alphonse wasn't holding her, so she'd had climbed up.]
Yotsuba's checking the wind, like you asked! It's fine! Yotsuba's good at climbing!
[Not that her face showed it was fine. Even with her coat and Alphonse's loincloth, she was freezing, and she wasn't smiling as she moved her arm about, still wincing every now and then due to the cold and the harsh winds. Eventually, she'd point her arm north.]
The wind's blowing that way! And Yotsuba's arm's red!
You shouldn't just jump up like that, you could get really hurt! Please come down now--!
[In a panic about her well being, Al scrabbles his hands on his shoulders to try and pull her down again and into the relative warmth of his cloth covered arms.]
[Since she hadn't been expecting Alphonse to pick her up and pull her back down, she cried out in surprise, though she let him pull her back down in to his arms. It was still freezing, and her legs and arm were feeling more than a bit numb, but she tried to bear with it as she spoke.]
[Being careful to keep the cloth between her bare skin and his hands, Al begins to rub up and down her arms and legs to try and get the circulation going again.]
Now we walk with our back to the wind, so it doesn't make you as cold, and find somewhere to build a shelter.
Okay..but how are we gonna make a shelter? We can't go inside!
[While Yotsuba could still kind of feel Al's cold metal body through the cloth, it did make her feel a little warmer, and since she saw that it helped, she copied his motions, both on her own legs and on his body, wherever she could reach, not knowing that it wouldn't help.]
