Network Prompts
ONE: IT WON'T BE LONG NOW... Well, you made a mistake. You spent too long searching around, or you ran outside near the end of the day for just one more thing, and now you've been locked out. You can search around all you want, but the best shelter you can hope for is pressing against the side of a sealed up building. You do still have your tablet, though. Maybe someone on the network can give you some advice, or at least some comfort while you wait for hypothermia to set in.
TWO: CABIN FEVER Maybe you didn't want that mistake of getting caught outside to happen again, but now you've ended up staying too long in one location, and cabin fever has set in. Maybe you're taking to the network to try and ignore the hallucinations. Maybe you want to tell everyone that you've figured out they're all in on your kidnapping. Maybe you ended up wandering off and now you'd really like to know if anyone can check back in the place you were at for your pants.
Action Prompts
THREE: AN UNEXPECTED MEETING You're going about your business searching what seems like it might be an especially promising house--it's fully intact and there's even a working fireplace with some wood! It looks like someone else has the same idea, though, and you've run into them in the middle of your search. Do you share the potential wealth or try to kick them out? On the other hand, maybe you know who this is, or maybe you're just glad to actually see another person for the first time in ages.
FOUR: GOOD MORGUE-NING You've just woken up in a morgue after dying in one unfortunate way or another. You have no idea where you are beyond that, but your tablet is insisting you can't stay here, so you should probably get out of here pretty quickly. Of course, bringing people back from the dead isn't a perfect science, so you're missing something important to you. Maybe you've lost your voice, maybe you can't remember where you're from, maybe you can't remember where you are right now. It looks like someone else is nearby, though. Maybe they can help you out?
Yeah, I understand that. ( it sucks being here himself, but he wouldn't ever wish hell upon someone else he cared for. but he shakes his head, to shake it off, and follows her gesture with eyes to take in his surroundings fully for the first time. it may need a bit of TLC but it's the closest thing to comfortable he's found yet. )
It's a pleasure, Miss Korra. Thank you. In return, I wonder, is there anything I can do for you? ( he smiles, brightens at his idea. ) Maybe a wound that needs some kind of treatment? My supplies aren't the best, but I know how to do some basic medical procedures.
I'm alright. You should save your supplies for someone who really needs it. With the weather this bad, I'm sure we'll run into someone who needs help sooner or later. [Thankfully, she knows how to handle the snow, and has avoided any injury herself so far.
Korra glances out the window, where the snow and wind has turned everything into just a blur of white.]
I wonder how many of us are actually around here. It's hard to tell with everyone scattered like this.
Still, if you're hurt yourself even a little, you should take care of it. The cold isn't as bad at the heat, but given the circumstances it's easy for something minor to compound into something much worse. ( just being honest! he lightens up though, and moves to remove his pack. )
It's hard to say. Until we really know what's out there it's impossible to know whether we're better off in large or small groups. At least we can keep in communication with the tablets but... ( he gives his own pack a dubious look, but then shakes his head. ) I don't think it would be a bad idea to gather some people up. There's nothing as pleasant as another friendly face.
Mm. And even if there's more of us to feed, we'll be able to find more.
( again he looks down at his pack, then back at Korra and nods. ) Yeah. I'm guessing you found one as well? You also have a tablet. ( he moves over to a chair, too, and instead of bothering to dust it off just lays his coat down before sitting down on it. )
They were both on the floor next to me. Nobody else was in that house--I checked before I left.
[Korra frowns, folding her arms over her chest.]
Don't you think that's suspicious? We turn up in some weird place like this with supplies and something that lets us talk to each other. Sounds to me like someone's expecting something from us.
It was the same with me. I couldn't get out until I used the tablet I had with me.
( honestly, he's having a hard time sitting still, not standing up and exclaiming that she is absolutely right about that. he was suspicious right from the start--how could it not be? at best it could be some kind of human-test-subject-using experiment they will survive; at worse it's probably just a joke someone somewhere finds incredibly funny. )
It is! I don't know why else we would be here, unless someone wanted something from us. I'm sure they're watching us right now.

[Korra drops into a battered old chair that she'd dusted off earlier, eyes on the pack that Shion was carrying with him. It looks just like hers.]
You found that when you woke up, right? [She points at it intently.]
