Network Prompts
ONE: IT WON'T BE LONG NOW... Well, you made a mistake. You spent too long searching around, or you ran outside near the end of the day for just one more thing, and now you've been locked out. You can search around all you want, but the best shelter you can hope for is pressing against the side of a sealed up building. You do still have your tablet, though. Maybe someone on the network can give you some advice, or at least some comfort while you wait for hypothermia to set in.
TWO: CABIN FEVER Maybe you didn't want that mistake of getting caught outside to happen again, but now you've ended up staying too long in one location, and cabin fever has set in. Maybe you're taking to the network to try and ignore the hallucinations. Maybe you want to tell everyone that you've figured out they're all in on your kidnapping. Maybe you ended up wandering off and now you'd really like to know if anyone can check back in the place you were at for your pants.
Action Prompts
THREE: AN UNEXPECTED MEETING You're going about your business searching what seems like it might be an especially promising house--it's fully intact and there's even a working fireplace with some wood! It looks like someone else has the same idea, though, and you've run into them in the middle of your search. Do you share the potential wealth or try to kick them out? On the other hand, maybe you know who this is, or maybe you're just glad to actually see another person for the first time in ages.
FOUR: GOOD MORGUE-NING You've just woken up in a morgue after dying in one unfortunate way or another. You have no idea where you are beyond that, but your tablet is insisting you can't stay here, so you should probably get out of here pretty quickly. Of course, bringing people back from the dead isn't a perfect science, so you're missing something important to you. Maybe you've lost your voice, maybe you can't remember where you're from, maybe you can't remember where you are right now. It looks like someone else is nearby, though. Maybe they can help you out?
[Asami's luck may have been getting better so far, but she was unfortunate enough to stumble across a certain former prince's cabin...or a least a cabin he claimed in the name of the Earth Kingdom. Or something like that. He didn't even know whose house it was to begin with.
Next to the kitchen is the living room where a nice big sofa is. It's sloppily pushed on it's side and Wu is cowering behind it with his back pressed against the cushions.
With one hand on his head and a fork in his hand (of defense), he shakily peaks his head out over to the kitchen, obviously scared out of his wits]
What's going on? Who's there? [....] Are you here to kill me?!
[Okay, now it's time to show what all his intense and rigorous training has finally done for him. Because taking a few weak punches at a soft couch minutes before Asami entered the house totally counts as training.
Mako would be so proud of him.
Wu lunges out from behind the sofa and rolls (rather very poorly) for effect, he stands up and points the fork at the intruder]
[Asami barely reacts to Wu's grand entrance beyond her jaw hanging open a bit further. She waits for him to stand up and stares at his fork with pursed lips.]
I'm not going to kill you, Wu.
[And she's quite unamused by the current situation.]
[There's a pretty long pause from him before he looks at the fork held tight in his hands and then back at Asami. Immediately, he lets go of the silverware so it drops to the floor and holds both his hands up out in fornt of him.
Mako and his friends were always cool in his book and he actually felt safe around them, so there was no need for the hostility in the first place. Not that he was ever good with that sort of thing]
Yeah yeah, I know that! [He relaxes a lot more now, wiping his brow in relief] Whew, am I glad to see you here...I really thought I was going to crock there for a second. I mean, just look at this place. It's really starting to creep me out and the weather isn't helping either.
[She does feel a bit bad for him, though. She's been having a lot of trouble not going crazy here herself, and she can't imagine how difficult the adjustment has been for Wu. With a small sigh, she returns to looking through the cans.]
Republic City winters were never like this.
[And even if they were, it would never last this long. She could at least try to commiserate. Asami frowns as the snow in her hair begins to melt and drip down her forehead.]
[In fact, he's pretty certain the Earth Kingdom hasn't had a proper winter in...forever. It would explain why he was shivering so much and why his teeth were nearly chattering the entire time he was here.
Even so, Wu finally finds himself stepping into the kitchen so he can glide on over to where Asami is and promptly pokes his head into the same cabinet she was searching in]
So what are you looking for exactly? Food? [A hand reaches in the cabinet to do its own hunting and then he pouts] Aww maaaan, why don't they store any hot chocolate these places, that's just common sense. I could sure go for some marshmallows right about now...
[He at least has the annoying friend part covered]
Check the other cabinets. Hot drinks will probably do us some good when night comes around.
[Because she's already resigned to the fact that she's not going to be able to shake him. And leaving him out in the cold might as well be abandoning a little kid out there.]
Look for pans, too. We can get a fire going once the cold gets bad and cook something.
[Because this is mild compared to what the nights were like.]
[Wu stumbles on over to the other cabinet a few spaces down, dropping a can of creamed corn on the counter along the way. He opens the door to look for pots and hot chocolate, nodding]
Food does sound good.
[More so than usual. Granted he means 'rich people's food' but he's pretty sure he's on the outs with that right now]
So juuuust to make sure...you know how to cook, right? I always had people doing that sorta stuff for me and I'm not sure I'm all that great at it.

It's almost preferable to take her chances with the snow. Asami whirls around to see-]
Wu?
[No princely title. Sorry, buddy.]

Aha! No where to run to-- [Uh] Wait...Asami?

Asami bites back the sharp response.]
No. I don't.
