Network Prompts
ONE: IT WON'T BE LONG NOW... Well, you made a mistake. You spent too long searching around, or you ran outside near the end of the day for just one more thing, and now you've been locked out. You can search around all you want, but the best shelter you can hope for is pressing against the side of a sealed up building. You do still have your tablet, though. Maybe someone on the network can give you some advice, or at least some comfort while you wait for hypothermia to set in.
TWO: CABIN FEVER Maybe you didn't want that mistake of getting caught outside to happen again, but now you've ended up staying too long in one location, and cabin fever has set in. Maybe you're taking to the network to try and ignore the hallucinations. Maybe you want to tell everyone that you've figured out they're all in on your kidnapping. Maybe you ended up wandering off and now you'd really like to know if anyone can check back in the place you were at for your pants.
Action Prompts
THREE: AN UNEXPECTED MEETING You're going about your business searching what seems like it might be an especially promising house--it's fully intact and there's even a working fireplace with some wood! It looks like someone else has the same idea, though, and you've run into them in the middle of your search. Do you share the potential wealth or try to kick them out? On the other hand, maybe you know who this is, or maybe you're just glad to actually see another person for the first time in ages.
FOUR: GOOD MORGUE-NING You've just woken up in a morgue after dying in one unfortunate way or another. You have no idea where you are beyond that, but your tablet is insisting you can't stay here, so you should probably get out of here pretty quickly. Of course, bringing people back from the dead isn't a perfect science, so you're missing something important to you. Maybe you've lost your voice, maybe you can't remember where you're from, maybe you can't remember where you are right now. It looks like someone else is nearby, though. Maybe they can help you out?
[His brow furrows a little as she has to stop and think, and he wishes more than anything right now that he still had his command over fire. He's already caused so much hurt, let down so many people... and now he can't even save one dying girl? What good is he?
[If this is all he can do, though, he'll do it. He'll keep her company as long as he can. No one should have to die with no one there to hear their thoughts.]
I don't think I've ever seen an airship. I've seen pirate ships, and Gummi Ships... are airships just like really big airplanes? I guess they're probably slower, huh?
Huh. So kinda like hot air balloons? Except with propellers... [He tries to conjure a mental image, and it winds up looking kind of absurd.
[He makes a bit of a face then when she asks about Gummi Ships.]
Ah, well... So this guy from my hometown, Cid, he found this elasticky stuff called Gummi Blocks, and it apparently was able to travel between worlds. I'm not actually certain why or how--I heard they might actually be pieces of a barrier that collapsed around each world, but don't quote me on that. In any case, Cid decided to try and build a ship out of these Gummi Blocks, which would allow people to travel between worlds safely. He was working on the blueprints for a long time, before...
[He really doesn't want to have to explain the fall of Radiant Garden.]
Before he had to relocate. And he finally figured it out, I guess, 'cuz my pal Sora's been flying around in one ever since.
I don't think the Gummi Blocks are actually like gummy candy, even if they kinda look and feel like it. I'm not sure, though--I never tasted one. The whole idea of flying around space in a ship made of gummy anything, though, kinda weirds me out.
[This is a trick question. Technically he's never flown between worlds, he just used corridors to pass between them, but that is definitely way too complicated to try and explain.]
I've done a lot of inter-world travel. For, ah... work. [Well, it's not a lie.] I did a lot of infomining back home, up until just recently. Lots of observation and learning about new places. The travel was a nice perk, but ultimately the job just wasn't for me. [He sticks his tongue out.] The management was terrible, for starters.
But yeah, the ships are all made out of Gummi Blocks. Doesn't seem very structurally sound, if you ask me, but Sora seemed to get along just fine with them.
((no worries, this has been fun and i'll look forward to continuing it when you can!))

[Asami forces a small laugh.]
Piloting is easier to learn than a lot of people think. It seems scary because of what can happen if you mess up, but...
[She pauses to search for words, unsure if it's her thoughts or her muscles slowing down and making it more difficult to focus.]
They're so much more dynamic than airships. And it's a completely different experience from driving on the ground.

[She pauses for another moment.]
What are Gummi Ships, anyway?
[That sounds like a ridiculous name for a ship...]

You... fly between worlds?
[Even if she were fully functioning, Asami would have to stop and stare at Lea to make sure she had heard him right.]
And it's literally made out of a gummy-like substance? I don't blame you; that would weird me out, too. And I don't know if I could trust it.
((I need to run to bed now, jsyk!))
