Network Prompts
ONE: TURN AROUND It's after lockdown, but not early enough to go to sleep. You've got everything sorted out, and now you're bored. Time to video chat on the network! Everything's fine from where you are... But unfortunately, there's something behind you. Something humanoid and creeping closer inch by inch, trying to sneak up on you without you noticing. Maybe the person you're talking to will let you know about that. The only problem? If you do turn around to look, you won't be able to see it. If your tablet friend can convince you to move to a different room and close the door, everything will be fine. If they can't, well, they'll be watching you get dragged off into the darkness before too long.
TWO: CAUGHT ON FILM Normally, this doesn't happen. In fact, normally it never happens. However, something has gone a bit wrong today, and the tablets are turning on and off by themselves. This makes for some pretty disjointed conversations, with people popping in and out at the worst times. And, of course, someone might see you doing something you'd prefer they didn't see. NOTE: Please don't post anything sexual in regards to this prompt. While in-game the network doesn't allow for accidental posts, we thought you guys could have fun with it here!
Action Prompts
THREE: HORROR HOSPITAL After a long trek through the ice tunnels, you've finally reached the hospital! You've just stepped inside to see what there is to see... And the door locks behind you. Looks like it's curfew, and guess where you're spending the night? The atmosphere is oppressive and the tablets don't work quite right, but this is probably better than being outside. Maybe you'll have some company with you? And there are probably beds somewhere.
FOUR: OKAY GUYS QUICK POLL You've run into some good luck--you've just found a blanket! It's soft and warm and if you fold it right, you're sure it will fit into your backpack. You're sure, but you can't tell, because it's already stuffed full of things. You're going to have to pick and choose what should stay and what should go... But hey, there are other people around! Maybe they can help you sort out your supplies! Maybe you can give them some of the stuff you can't carry! Maybe you can steal their backpack so you can carry more! The options are endless!

I'm sorry, okay! I didn't mean it. Any of it!
[ Except he did, didn't he? He might not have meant to infect Brian in the first place, but he certainly meant to end his life. Even if he hadn't known who it was at the time, it was still intentional. Still murder. ]
I'm sorry.
no subject
He cants his head, unsure how to reply to this either. Why you make things so hard, Tim?*
no subject
Apology not accepted, huh. Should I have put on the mask first?
[ He's not serious as he says it, but then... Hrrm. He can't decide if that'd help or make things worse.
Plus the thought of putting it on while he's lucid skeeves him out like whoa. ]
no subject
No, wait, there was one thing. He holds up a finger--wait, please--and digs his tablet out. It wasn't perfect, but text was much easier than speaking. He fiddles with it for a moment, bringing up the notepad app and typing something in before turning it towards Tim.*
no need tobe sorry

It physically hurts to read. Mostly because he thinks it's the same thing Brian would say - proper Brian, Brian before the tall thing reached inside him and put his mind through a shredder.
The tone and the reasoning behind it are likely completely different, but. It's still difficult to deal with. ]
...Right. You blame Alex for all of it, huh.
[ Not entirely unfairly. ]
He's not killing people any more. There - there's no point. People don't stay dead, so.
no subject
Don't stay dead? But that didn't make any sense...
Did that mean he might actually BE dead?*how
no subject
[ This is easier, albeit weird as hell to be speaking to Hoods McBinary so civilly. Infodumping means he doesn't have to deal with the weirdness so much, though. ]
People die, then come back. But they get moved.
[ You know. Like the tall thing can do. ]
And they lose something. Memories, mostly.
[ WOWSIES this sure is sounding TALL THINGTASTIC ]
It's pretty, uh. Pretty goofed.

The idea that there might be two (or more?) of them is worrying. Far easier to accept that this place had something to do with the Operator, then. That maybe Tim's theory was right.
It wasn't a full answer, though. He needed more information to get that. Tim would have to help him
whether he wanted to or not.He nods slowly. It is pretty goofed, isn't it?*
no subject
He's pretty sure neither Jay nor Brian himself would be happy with Tim bringing him back to their current shelter like a stray dog. That doesn't stop him feeling responsible for him, though. Guilt complexes are a hell of a thing. ]
Uh -
[ He fishes around in his pocket again, retrieving his pills, and pours half of them out into his hand. ]
You, uh. Should take these, I guess. I mean, it - the thing could show up any time, so.
no subject
Was Tim just...giving him the pills? Seriously? That's so far out from what he's used to he can barely process it. He just kind of boggles at it for a few moments before recovering.
There had to be a catch, right? There's no way Tim would give away something so valuable otherwise. But what could it be? He had almost nothing here.*
what do you
want
no subject
Dunno. I mean, I - I figure keeping everybody safe is. It's for the best. So. And when I first got here I was - I had to lower my dose and it mostly worked out, so I'll just. Do that again. We can share.
[ "And also I feel really fucking guilty for straight up murdering you and it's been eating me up inside ever since Alex spilled the beans on that detail" goes unsaid, but is absolutely a huge part of it. ]
no subject
iowe you no thing.
no subject
Still. Baby steps. And since taking the pills himself keeps Masky at bay, maybe more of Friend!Brian will start to show through if the hooded guy gets a reliable source of pills?
It's basically the slimmest of slim hopes, but it's all Tim has. He'll take it. ]
Right. Nothing. A thanks wouldn't hurt, but whatever.
no subject
He shrugs and waits for Tim to make the next move. Even with the civil exchange he's not about to turn his back on Tim, at least not when they're this close.*
no subject
[ He feels a little shitty about it, but. He's also pretty sure that they're not at the "I can snooze in your general vicinity without worrying about getting robbed/you watching me sleep/ending up in a creepy video on Snow Youtube" stage yet. ONE DAY, MAYBE.
He takes a couple of hesitant sideways steps away. He doesn't much want to turn his back yet, either. ]
I'm, uh - if. If you need more pills? Or anything. I'm TW on the network, so. So yeah.
no subject
He's got a lot to figure out, though. Why you make things so complicated and confusing, Tim.*
