Network Prompts
ONE: TURN AROUND It's after lockdown, but not early enough to go to sleep. You've got everything sorted out, and now you're bored. Time to video chat on the network! Everything's fine from where you are... But unfortunately, there's something behind you. Something humanoid and creeping closer inch by inch, trying to sneak up on you without you noticing. Maybe the person you're talking to will let you know about that. The only problem? If you do turn around to look, you won't be able to see it. If your tablet friend can convince you to move to a different room and close the door, everything will be fine. If they can't, well, they'll be watching you get dragged off into the darkness before too long.
TWO: CAUGHT ON FILM Normally, this doesn't happen. In fact, normally it never happens. However, something has gone a bit wrong today, and the tablets are turning on and off by themselves. This makes for some pretty disjointed conversations, with people popping in and out at the worst times. And, of course, someone might see you doing something you'd prefer they didn't see. NOTE: Please don't post anything sexual in regards to this prompt. While in-game the network doesn't allow for accidental posts, we thought you guys could have fun with it here!
Action Prompts
THREE: HORROR HOSPITAL After a long trek through the ice tunnels, you've finally reached the hospital! You've just stepped inside to see what there is to see... And the door locks behind you. Looks like it's curfew, and guess where you're spending the night? The atmosphere is oppressive and the tablets don't work quite right, but this is probably better than being outside. Maybe you'll have some company with you? And there are probably beds somewhere.
FOUR: OKAY GUYS QUICK POLL You've run into some good luck--you've just found a blanket! It's soft and warm and if you fold it right, you're sure it will fit into your backpack. You're sure, but you can't tell, because it's already stuffed full of things. You're going to have to pick and choose what should stay and what should go... But hey, there are other people around! Maybe they can help you sort out your supplies! Maybe you can give them some of the stuff you can't carry! Maybe you can steal their backpack so you can carry more! The options are endless!

[Haurchefant's eyes flick around the growing pile before he turns his gaze back to the end of the hall before them.]
Have you any idea what these contraptions are for?
no subject
He was sure he hadn't found what he was looking for, though, and ends the search with a sigh. He looks between Haurchefant and the mess he's made, canting his head slightly. Did you want any of that?*
no subject
He unhooks his cloak and offers it.]
We can make a bindle of this and carry what we find within it. I am well enough familiar with the cold to survive without until we are ready to leave.
no subject
He takes the cloak with a nod, spreads it out on a counter and starts moving things from the pile to a new pile on the cloak.*
no subject
[He watches the other man spread alien items out on the cloak then lifts his gaze again. This place is unfamiliar enough that he prefers to keep a close watch on the shadows...just in case.]
no subject
Once the pile is moved onto the cloak he bundles it all up in what seems to be the best way to carry it. He's not entirely sure as this isn't a method of transport he's used in the past.
Before picking up the bundle, however, he picks up an empty pill bottle. He clears his throat to get his companion's attention and shakes the bottle. He needs actual pills, please keep an eye out for those.*
no subject
Is there not enough room left for the bottle? There ought be...
no subject
He opens the bottle and shows that its empty, then shakes his head again. Empty is bad.*
no subject
Ah, you need a full bottle! I'll keep my eyes open, my friend, though I know not where I'd look.
If there should be medicine in there it could be a difficult find indeed. Even mine own apothecaries are seldom wont to let me touch their wares without their permission. Here it could be likewise.
[A sweeping gesture.]
Medicines and potions kept carefully under lock and key...
no subject
He sighs to the last bit and nods slowly. Having never actually had a prescription for the drugs he needs he knows all about medications being locked away. This place was lacking the people responsible for that, though, so that was kind of good. Breaking into something was easier if you didn't have to watch out for the owners.*
no subject
On the matter of finding where these medicines might be I fear I'll be of little use.
If you've any ideas then lead on, I shall follow.
no subject
But, no, he has no idea where to find the medication he needs, or any medication here. It was a hospital, so it must have drugs, but where were those normally kept? Maybe he should look just for that instead of looking for 'anything of use.' It was going to become important sooner or later.
He shakes his head. He's just going to have to hope he gets lucky in searching.*
no subject
I see.
You are nearly as perplexed as I.
Mayhap together we can still find the supplies we seek.
[He stops and opens a door as he passes it. A mop falls out, nearly knocking him on the head. He manages to launch himself backwards and land in a defensive stance, eyes wide, as if he were being attacked.]
no subject
He stops short as Haurcherfant jumps backwards and turns to face the perceived threat.
Except its just a mop and nothing else seems to be coming out after them. So he resumes heading towards the entrance, though if his companion doesn't follow immediately he'll wait for him.*
no subject
After giving the mop a warning scowl he follows after his companion.]
Are you heading back to the doors? They'll not be open for some time.
no subject
no subject
Are you quite certain you wish to leave the bindle behind? There is always a chance we'll find more that we need and I haven't any pockets. Do you?
no subject
no subject
With a voice, at least, he can get a sense of a person. He's not sure he can call his companion anything other than "stranger".
When the man drops the wrapped cloak, Haurchefant spreads his hands.]
I suppose we'd best keep looking for the medicines. Of the many supplies in this peculiar labyrinth I can hardly think of aught that would be of more importance.
[But he still has no idea where to look. Where he's from hospitals are single corridors lined with beds. This...this is different]
no subject
That's kind of the point. After putting the bundle on the ground he opens the cloak, moves the objects to the floor and stands up with just the cloak. He's not really offering it back, but if Haurcherfant wants to reclaim it he won't stop him.
He nods to the statement. There has to be some way to figure out where the drugs were. Did hospitals have maps? Was that too easy?*
no subject
[Haurchefant, while talented at maneuvering his own troops, has never been very good at solving more small scale problems.
He does, however, manage to come to same thought as the stranger and taps the side of his head.]
Would a place such as this have a map?
no subject
He sighs and starts towards the next room. He's silent, again, except for some coughing.*
no subject
As he looks around he sees printing on the wall farther down the hall.
RADIOLOGY.
Thanks to what he can only assume is a strange magic in this world, he can read the lettering but the word means nothing to him.]
"Radiology"
I do not suppose you've any idea what that means, do you?
[He glances into the room at his silent companion.]

Are you quite alright? That is a frightful cough you have there, my friend.
