The door creaking and shuttering against him at least reassures him that the kid's not about to have a run in with the thing any time soon. Well, not unless it brought a friend. But.. if that were the case, Zack has a feeling they would have already ran into it.

There's a chair not far from reach... It's a struggle to nab it without letting up on the door, but he eventually does hook it with a foot and bring it over his way. With a short jolt of renewed energy, he jams it sideways, anchoring it between knob and floor to hold for now.
Then he's... swaying sickly to his feet, taking a few quick swallows and trying to calm himself before he snags an end table next, dropping it in front of the door, too. Sora can probably hear the thugs and clatters of that moving furniture if he listens hard enough. ]
