Network Prompts
ONE: A LONG WALK HOME
You wake up at 6AM when lockdown ends, cold and tired, like you've been walking miles in the snow. But that's normal, isn't it? What isn't normal is your surroundings. You're in a new building, maybe one you've never seen before, or one you know is far, far away from where you were the night before when you fell asleep. If you were traveling with someone, you notice, also, that you are alone. There's no telling where your traveling companion could be.
When you check the network, you notice that @ADMIN has left a message.
Surveillance encountered an error shortly after 8PM last night and was out of order until shortly after 6AM. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Whether or not you're confused or concerned about the message, maybe a post to the network will help you re-orient yourself.
TWO: GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE...
Seems you've found a rather valuable commodity. Something like alcohol, tea, coffee, cigarettes, or perhaps even something medical. Whatever you've found, you have no real interest in it, yourself. But you know that there's a market for it, and you see the opportunity to turn this into a win-win situation. You're not physically around anyone that you know of, so you propose a network-wide trade. And whoever makes the sweetest deal can be the proud owner of their craved luxury.

THREE: A SYMPHONY OF SOUND
You and your traveling companion thought that the house you decided to stop in for the night seemed normal enough. But lockdown hits, as it does every night, and things start to get strange. Soft sounds of crying; children crying, parents crying, screaming for their own safety. Maybe it's just the sound of the wind rushing so hard through the rubble you fear the ceiling will collapse. Maybe it's your own voice whispering to you to do awful things. Whatever the noise is, it's too much for you to fall asleep, coming to eerie crescendos and ebbing in volume at entirely irregular intervals. Looks like you and whoever you're with are in for a long night.
FOUR: IN DUE TIME
After a grueling day of travel, you and your companion finally come across safe shelter. And it seems to be a nice house, too, with a working fireplace and everything. The only strange part is that you aren't alone--but the other people in the house don't seem to be aware of you. In fact, they don't seem to be aware of anything; they're frozen in time, unmoving, unblinking, not even breathing. They can be touched, but they can't be moved. No matter how hard you try, they're rooted to the spot. They seem to be like you, weighed down with heavy winter wear and backpacks, not like the nondescript shadowy people that wander the town.
Oh well. They're probably harmless, and it isn't like you have time to find a different place to stay.

[There isn't much that can bring this kid down, Leon. Seriously. Even when people try he just slaps on stupid masks and has tea with a dog and a duck.
Hand dropping back to his side and out of view of the camera, Sora gives a solemn nod as he mulls over what Leon is telling him.]
Same as it is with the heartless then. At least that gives us something of an idea of how to work around the monsters here, right? [Even if he had no idea what kinds of monsters there were. A surprised and pleased laugh escapes him.] It's good to see you too, Leon! [You speak the same language as Riku so he's learning to translate.] Here's hoping! I'll be in touch soon, I promise!

And yesterday I had no internet. Today someone teached me how to use my phone as router, thought. Technology sure is amazing... and now secretly tagging from work.Mh.
[Oh, yeah, you'll probably have to update him on the last few events, this old man here arrived in snowhell right when you restored Radiant Garden's memories... Still, kudos to your spirit, the city needs someone like Sora.]

You can't fight or defeat monsters here, they aren't affected by anything but rubble and so far everyone who tried to attack or fight them... didn't survive. [It's a bit too direct, perhaps, but Leon doesn't want Sora to attempt anything stupid or take unnecessary risks] There is an application, the Beacon, it will attract monsters if turned on. Avoid it. [This way he will be able to lure creatures away from the kid -no, the young man now-, in case.]
Mphf- [Right, you have that friend who speaks this man's language. Too bad someone, here, never had a real chance to speak with Riku- but least Sora will probably realize that Leon's 'orders' are his clumsy way to show he actually cares.] Whatever.

I got caught up in a whirlwind of having to be social Dx Sorry for the late reply[Sora visibly deflates a bit.]
So how are we suppose to protect ourselves and everyone else?
[This was becoming more and more foreboding. But he had to keep his hopes up! He had to keep a clear head and not let himself get bogged down with worry.]

[With another quick salute he shuts his device off so he can actually get to scouting about, scouring the entire cabin for anything that might be useful. He manages to come out of it with a half full box of matches and a broken flashlight but hey, it's better than nothing at all!
Items tucked safely into his bag, Sora makes his way out of the cabin and activates his device once more.]

I had a busy weekend myself, no worries! Glad to see you again.This is a good question: here we have to focus on preventing dangerous situations rather than dealing with them hitting the monsters with whatever we find. On the bright side, encounters aren't so common... and avoiding large groups will certainly help avoiding anomalies too.

I know we're not in a good situation, Sora, but we will go home. We have friends waiting for us, right?
[Now... hopefully no one will mention Sora that the beacon is a great way to keep others safe since it will lure monsters in your direction. Anyway, since the discussion is getting rather grim he actually smiles in his direction-]

[He will be allowed to get angry whenever he'll find out what the beacon actually does but- hey, Leon is trying to protect the hero of all worlds as he can. At least Sora will probably appreciate how Leon will probably know how to fix the flashlight (if they'll ever find spare parts to do so) since he was pretty much an handyman that recycles everything he could in Radiant Garden (you know, it wasn't like they had so many things with a world to rebuild.).
Anyway, when they speak again the man is already outside, walking in the snow and enjoying the freezing temperatures, this time Sora is greeted by a Leon wearing a wonderful pink woolen hat. It's warm and cozy, who cares about dignity?]
