Things change... they don't get better. In fact, House is pretty sure Frisk is getting worse. He hasn't said anything on the network because that would look like caring, but he's noticed the way they've changed, lost some of their determination, if not all of it. The cynic in him says it's good that the Littlest Optimist is finally getting a reality check, but it's another of those pyrrhic victories. He's not actually happy or even satisfied.

There are a bunch of kids that are going to be traumatized for life here, whether that means in Norfinbury or back in their home realities. He kind of hoped in his cold and shriveled heart that maybe Frisk would be okay-ish. He doesn't think they will be. Also, that kid has a serious guardian complex problem. You're like 10. Stop it, Frisk.

I'm laughing because so many of the things he's hitting the nail right on the head are the things that aren't going to change without serious intervention. and I'm just imagining how much shit'll change if he ever finds out about their abilities or even an iota of their history.

What if he'd been the one to meet Omega Flowey instead of Watson is what I'm wondering, essentially.

I'm hoping that I'm right and Frisk is on their way to at least a bit of a rebound, emotionally speaking, but yeah... all of this is... yeah. stares at the ceiling and contemplates my life choices
