I'm a keyblade wielder--but not a chosen wielder. The keyblade didn't pick me.

Yeah it..it's used to protect all the worlds that exist. Protect them from being taken over by the Heartless.

And you're wielding it, why?

Because the Heartless attacked my home. It took away both of my friends and I was the only one left to wield it. So I did and now protecting the worlds is my responsibility.

Sounds like something out of a legend to me. Do they tell legends about you, boy?

I..don't think so? I'm just doing what I have to so we can all have our homes back.

Your life sounds like the sort of thing I'd read in a book of tales.

I guess that's fair. I've heard all sorts of strange things since I came here...but I really don't think I'm a legend or anything like that.

To save the fucking world? You need confidence. Unless you really are from a legend.

I have confidence! ...Most of the time. I..some pretty bad stuff happened recently but it'll be alright.

[He's actually mostly kidding here - he does see Sora as the type to 100% disapprove of his activities, but at this point he's pretty sure he doesn't take him seriously as a potential obstacle like he does Steve (and maybe Watson). Sorry, Sora.]

Nah, mate, don't trouble yourself with it. Me and him, we're cut from the same sort of cloth, that's all - only him with a fair bit more denial of having anything good in his life.
